So amending the constitution to suit your needs is more constitutional then wanting it to be more accurate to the original?
Big fucking think right there.
Dude, that is literally the whole point of the constitution. That was what the founding father's intended. The constitution is a living document, it's supposed to be amended as times change.

And nothing has to be amended right now. The constitution, as it stands right now, guarantees the right of every citizen over the age of 18 to be able to vote readily and easily. Mail in ballots are more on par with the constitution than how we have been handling voting these past decades.

This isn't new, dude. Read the constitution.

That doesn't mean amendments are inherently good or constitutional just cause you slap it on there. Founding Fathers clearly did not intend for every tom dick and harry to vote because that's fucking retarded and they knew allowing 50 IQers and people who live in their own little bubbles ignorant of the reality of things shouldn't have a say in how to govern a country. Literally trying to use the bandwagon fallacy as the foundation for a country, you'd have to be genuinely fucking stupid or genuinely fucking evil to want that.

JFC dude. The founding fathers intended for the constitution to be amended as things changed. The founding fathers themselves knew they were not the be all end all of law, and made it so we could add shit later. I know you think only certain people should vote, but the constitution disagrees with you.

I ask, who do you think gets to choose who gets to vote? What if it's someone who decides you can't? That is why we have the constitution.

But for real. Stop. You are embarrassing yourself.

The constitution's gotten pretty fat; I wouldn't have sex with it these days.

lmao, amendments to the constitution are by their very nature constitutional you fucking retard. Did you eat paste in your high school civics class or something

I could not care less about technicalities. Slapping something on hundreds of years after the fact doesn't inherently give it credibility or substance. Founding Fathers had it right from the start regarding voting, there's a reason we've been in decline, the stupid and uninformed should not vote, they're nothing more than tools used by whoever can blast them with the most propaganda during election season.

Dude, your lack of understanding of the founding fathers while also gobbling their balls is astounding.

Do you own land?

ETA: Also, the first few amendments to the constitution were made by the founding fathers, you absolute nonce.

Feel free to show me where I state I have an inherent issue with amendments. I get reading comprehension isn't your strong suit but I'm saying that amendments aren't inherently good just because they're amendments. The amendment that allows the person who eats their own shit or is drunk 24/7 to have an impact on how the country is govern is exactly why the goverment has gotten as awful as it is.

Which amendment is that?

Also, do you own land?

Do you have a counter argument or not?
TBF, I don't need one. You don't like the constitution, but that's not going to change anything. It's the law of the land. And you bring up strawman amendments that don't exist to prove the point you're trying to make, while ignoring my questions.

I'm going to assume you don't own land, as you refuse to answer that question. By the founding fathers, you would not be allowed to vote. Sorry :(.

Thankfully, just 92 years later, the 14th amendment changed that.

Your arguments are mired in the facts that you really have little to no knowledge of what you're arguing. You're acting like we are suddenly adding new amendments in regard to voting, when these amendments by and large have been around for over 100 years. You don't know anything about the founding fathers, the constitution, or your rights as a citizen of the USA. It's kind of sad, really.

Also, to answer this question:
constitutional retard said:

With your very next sentence:
constitutional retard said:
I'm saying that amendments aren't inherently good just because they're amendments.

Then some complete idiocy about shit that doesn't exist.

What is the status of the general opinion towards the results at this point?
I guess most republican politicians have accepted the election at this point but what about republican voters?

Is there still a chance of civil war?

I think mostly there's a chance of a handful of fat rednecks taking their guns to the streets, but not making it down the block before they need to sit down.
