For some reason Dr Pepper refused to acknowledge his diagnosis

Last I heard, they set him free under a new alias after a stay in the looney bin.

Even the public thought that this was stupid.
Maaan... They should at least force a babysitter on him so he doesn't not take his meds.

Another one of the tragedies of schizophrenia is that one of its key features is a total lack of insight. This makes it very easy for them to stop taking their meds (that, and the side effects tend to really suck), either intentionally or not, and slip back into deep psychosis without realizing it.

Like, arson schizo here was saying in his other thread that he, unlike some other schizophrenics, does not experience psychosis. According to him (which I'm sure he legitimately believes), he experiences many other symptoms of schizophrenia, including soda allergies or whatever, but not psychosis. 🤔

You don't get it. He has non-psychotic schizophrenia. He was perfectly sane when he burned down that fucking clinic for not recognizing his genius self-diagnosis.
There is no such thing as "non-psychotic schizophrenia":

"Schizophrenia is a serious mental disorder in which people interpret reality abnormally. Schizophrenia may result in some combination of hallucinations, delusions, and extremely disordered thinking and behavior that impairs daily functioning, and can be disabling."

Source: Mayo Clinic. A false perception of reality is psychosis.

I'll have you know Florian syndrome (a totally real disorder) has been described as "a schizophrenia without psychosis" by a man who is definitely smarter than you (140 IQ per WAIS-IV).

What I want to know is why he makes that amazing face when he drinks soda. I don't drink soda either, but carbonation doesn't make me have a facial seizure, I just don't really like it that much.

Do you think his delusion is making him do the face? He does seem to take a second to make it after he drinks, so there's a distinct possibility.
