The game looks really, really good in 4K with Ray Tracing on and all settings dialed up. It just performs like ass to a degree it shouldn't. But anything below 4k and without any of the next gen gpu features enabled and the game looks like your average video-gamey looking PS4 title. So while PC gamers are having their moment right now the fact that nobody is pushing them to actually stabilize peformance on PC is setting a bad precedent, because priority might shift to making the game run on PS4, completely blindsiding the performance issues on PC.

Ultra at 1080p without ray tracing blows pretty much every PS4 game out of the water lol. If you want good performance you can even turn on the light ray tracing settings and it looks even better. For all the game's faults, it has pretty damn impressive lighting and texture work and it's pretty fun to just walk around the city and take in the sights. The audio design is nice, too.

It's kind of a pyrrhic victory for pc gaming to finally have the game that console players can't properly enjoy, while the only way to enjoy it on pc is to either accept terrible framerates or having it look like ass and as bad as on consoles, albeit with a stable framerate. If I wanted to play games in 1440p and without any next gen graphical features or with terrible framerates if I want it to look good - I might as well be a console player.

If I wanted to play the game looking like rancid ass to get 60fps I could do that as well. I got a Core i9-10900K and a RTX 3080, I can probably play the game with better performance than you. The issue is I am not willing to compromise on visual quality and performance because I'm not that much of a fanboy cocksucker who will play this game in 480p with console visuals and then brag about it online.

There are no witcher 3 total conversion.
