Near as I can remember, many brand teach that all leaders are appointed and protected by god. Good ones AND bad ones to carry out his plan.
if they had shown the same grace in praying for Obama I wouldn’t have flinched, but they’re obviously hypocrites.

Evangelists/Religious nutjobs are the mirror opposite of SJWs; both constantly cry out about persecution, both want gibs for their ever-changing wants while providing nothing, and both want to instate a puritanical and draconian society they don't even qualify for. If you want someone to thank someone for the increased religious 'tism in America, start with LBJ with his short sighted attempt at psychologically upstaging the USSR. Also Nixon and Regan for continuing the same tactic during the Vietnam and Cold Wars.

it’s because these gun toting morons think that they’re gonna be the ones enforcing it. It’s a power rush. But people who like power do not like armed citizens so, ironically, their guns would be some of the first to go. And they will probably give them up willingly.

I recall easing something (can’t find it now) that said the doomsday preppers were pissed off at Covid because it wasn’t playing up to their expectations. Apocalypse was supposed to be warring factions, family against the government etc. instead the government either ignored the problem or it did it’s best to get people on its side to fight covid. People worked together, and are pulling through.
I wonder whether some faction or the other is trying their best to get their dream scenario so they don’t look like morons for hoarding piles of canned beans. Also plays into the whole “we’re gonna get the satanic pedos” larp going on.
They are little people who have done nothing with their lives and so they play pretend to make themselves feel more special.
