I remember that guy. He said he was asexual or something and did it as a whole performance art piece. I still wonder every now and again how they convinced a chef to cook some dudes junk. Anybody able to translate the text?

Scarily enough, the Cenobites were directly inspired by people Clive Barker met who were in the early body modification scene in New York City back in the 1970's along with the gay leather scene who were big into occultism.

No joke, a lot of the old leather scene was low key into weird occult stuff including theistic Satanism and Thelema at the time and there was some overlap with the leathermen and the gay elements of the body modification scene at the time.

One of the lolcows in the main lolcow section, Robert Paul Champagne, is one of the few surviving leather men from 70's/80's New York and is sorta into that. It's part of why he calls his place Lucifer's Lair.

Continuing on the subject of people having their genitals removed: I recently stumbled upon a weird little community of people like that on Twitter, Gay men who are or want to be dickless men (some want to get rid of the balls as well) and the men who are turned on by them.

Here's for instance a German who had his penectomy done by a surgeon 4 years ago and appears to have a lot of admirers:

I've stumbled across such accounts before but the ones linked are much more of a "community" than just one isolated weirdo with ten tweets. I always wonder if these people 41% themselves, and how long after their modifications it takes them. The novelty/fetish aspect they experience in the beginning can only last so long before they start to regret it.

The ringleader in the news article is described as a 44 year old Norwegian, known as The Eunoch Maker. The post is about the website eunuchmaker.co.uk, owned by Marius Gustavson, who offers to castrate anyone who buys a VIP membership (looks like that Trent guy is just a random member of the community, not the site owner).

Article with update on the charges against the nullo group. Ringleader Marius Gustavson had his penis, nipple and leg (!) removed. Several others are also named, including three who performed the amputations and leg freezing on Gustavson. It also involves 200.000 pounds in income and an indecent image of a child.

‘Eunuch maker’ appears in London court on GBH charges

A man accused of carrying out castrations on other men and broadcasting the footage on his “eunuch maker” website has appeared in court.
Marius Gustavson, 45, along with eight others, is alleged to have performed extreme body modifications, including the removal of penises and testicles.
The procedures were filmed and uploaded to the website he ran and subscribers would pay to watch, Westminster magistrates court heard on Wednesday.
Gustavson, who is originally from Norway, is said to have been the ringleader in a wide-ranging conspiracy, involving up to 29 offences of extreme body modifications, the removal of body parts, the trade in body parts and the uploading of videos.
A total of nine men appeared in courts in central London and Wales on Wednesday over the alleged six-year plot, which is said to have brought in about £200,000 in income.
Gustavson, from Tottenham, north London, is charged with conspiracy to cause grievous bodily harm (GBH) with intent between 1 January 2016 and 1 January last year and five counts of causing GBH to five alleged victims.
The GBH charges include the removal of a man’s penis, the clamping of another’s testicles and the freezing of a leg, which required amputation.
He is further charged with acquiring or possessing criminal property, making an indecent image of a child and distributing an indecent image of a child.
The court heard Gustavson, who appeared in the dock using a wheelchair, has had his own leg, penis and nipple removed.
He appeared alongside Peter Wates, 65, from Croydon, south London, who is charged with conspiracy to cause GBH with intent.
Wates is alleged to have been involved with nine of the 29 incidents while the Romanian national Ion Ciucur, 28, who works in a hotel in Gretna Green, Scotland, is said to have been involved in two.
Ciucur, who appeared separately, faces the same count of conspiracy to cause GBH and all three men were remanded in custody ahead of their next appearance at the Old Bailey on 19 April.
Three other men, named as David Carruthers, Janus Atkin and Ashley Williams on the indictment, appeared in Newport magistrates court, south Wales, charged with being involved in the same conspiracy.
They will appear at the same court on the same date for a plea hearing.
Nathaniel Arnold, 47, from South Kensington, west London; Damien Byrnes, 35, from Tottenham, north London; and Jacob Crimi-Appleby, 22, from Epsom, Surrey, also appeared at Westminster magistrates court on Wednesday, each charged with a single offence of causing GBH with intent.
Arnold is alleged to have removed Gustavson’s nipple, Byrnes is accused of removing his penis and Crimi-Appleby is accused of freezing his leg, requiring amputation.
They will also appear at the Old Bailey with their co-defendants next month. None of the men have entered pleas to any of the charges.
All of the alleged victims are said to have been part of a society in which people willingly undergo extreme body modification.
The practice is linked to a subculture where men become “nullos”, short for genital nullification, by having their penis and testicles removed.
