@TamarYaelBatYah are you ever gonna address my debunking of your 14th amendment argument? Oh, and I have another point to add to just how stupid your argument is. Were the 14th to work as you envision it, punishing convicted felons with innability to vote would be a crime. In case you weren't aware, it isn't one, and all states punish convicted felons with removing their ability to vote(at least temporarely). Were the 14th to work as you envision it, restraining orders would be largely illegal. Were it to function as you think it does, prisons would be illegal. I think everyone gets the point by now. So, why doesn't it work like that? Largely due to this line ("without due process of law"). This line, by itself, nulifies the entire 14th's effect if the punishment comes from a court of law. It's the 6th line of the 14th amendment, so I am not suprised you weren't able to read that far.
