I feel a lot of people in this thread have the idea that he/him lesbians = men. Which, yeah, that's how it should work but a lot of nu-kweers think that pronouns don't equal gender which is a joke. In their own logic a he/him lesbian is a lesbian who's usually butch and/or doesn't feel a connection to their womanhood; same thing goes for they/them lesbians.

BASICALLY: lots of unpacked internalized misogyny mixed with modern LGBT bullshit = self-hating lesbians who'd rather be either referred to as a man or as a genderless blob because being a cis lesbian is the worst thing to be in their eyes.
