Here in the cornfield, Signs ever asking nicely to please were a mask. And mostly only the workers wearing wask. it's being treated as a polite request. However most folk are treating it as a do your own thing if want. So looks like my state will be back to full business by the first of the year. Heres to coping.
Merry Christmas kiwis

I wonder how they would react if they had read that article about masks and vitamin D?

Now, go get pegged....

This interest in sexual experimentation during lockdown is reflected in what people have been googling in 2020. UK searches for "what is pegging in sex?" have seen a 250% increase, according to data from Google Trends, while "what is BDSM?" searches are up by 70%.

Depends on whom you ask, we still have a sizable population that's believes any all things told to them blindly. However if the rather diverse group of people at the Family Christmas party are to be believed. It would appear they dont really trust what there being told and or are just sick of being told what to do. The other concerns range from there jobs and the local economy. After all they live in very small towns -less then 10k. Population. It would appear the general consensus amongst this group of people is January 1st 2021 business as usual move along. With a few individuals still claiming we're all gonna die

Personally ran into this a few days ago while at the dentist. Granted I'm probably super late on this because the pandemic threw off my whole routine checkup schedule, and I'm not super MATI about it tbh but to quote from the article:
Any decent dentist should have already had an industrial-grade air purification solution, one that could suck the mercury right out of your fillings.

We’re told now it doesn’t matter if it was actually the diagnosis that caused death.

If someone had it, they died of it' '40% did not have COVID-19 as the underlying cause of death'

They even found car accidents and drownings counted as COVID deaths.

Italian scientists test a kiwi fruit for Coronavirus, and yes you guessed it, it tested positive.

Cousin update and a question. So he's about to go New York because of his job, but he needs a vaccination before he could travel. A bunch of the family want him to move so he won't be unemployed, but there's also the issue of the rushed vaccination and the possible side effects. Should he just take it and move there, found a way to skip the vaccine, or skip the job all-together?
What's New York City even like? I only visited there once and unfortunately during the peak of a tourist season, so I never got far on seeing what its truly like. People would say its a crowded shithole because of people's antics over there, though it might be just that a majority of people in NY are those who mind their own business and there's a few who are focused on for acting outside of normalcy. I even did some research and gave him Ilion for a random quiet suburb for him to live on on the state, but he prefers living on the city.
I probably might be biased on that one visit to the city just because it was so stupidly crowded and visited at the wrong time

When I went to my dental office this fall, there was no such surcharge for my visit. However, I'm going to keep my eyes open when I go for my next checkup this spring.

On one hand, I can understand dental offices needing to do something about the increasing costs for PPE and other related supplies such as cleaning and sanitizing solutions. On the other hand, those patients that can barely afford their basic dental care might stop going to the dentist if they suddenly have to pay a extra $20-30 per visit or treatment.

The other thing that concerns me is that this charge might become permanent and more prevalent moving forward even after COVID eventually becomes a thing of the past. When gasoline passed $4 per gallon regionally serveral years ago, a vendor for one of my work clients added a $5 fuel surcharge on every bill in response to the spike in gas prices for its vehicles. Although prices dropped later that summer and they haven't been that high ever since, the vendor still has that $5 line item on every invoice because they don't want to give up the extra money it brings in -- especially now with revenues down due to COVID.

Any decent dentist should have already had an industrial-grade air purification solution, one that could suck the mercury right out of your fillings.
That was my first thought given all the safety requirements and equipment dentist offices need to have before they can even operate.

Planning to travel to Central America (early) this year for career-related reasons.
Really hoping they don't try to make me get the vaccine for this shit...
I'm hoping I'm not put in a position where a COVID vaccine will be required for a job or any other money-making activity.

Went home for Christmas and did some snowboarding along the way in the Eastern Sierras and Lake Tahoe. The first day of snowboarding was like having my own private ski resort due to faggot Newsom's stay at home orders which tbh was kind of awesome. Also there's nothing dumber than seeing couples wearing their masks in the car while driving in the middle of nowhere. Hope you guys don't wear them while fucking!

When I was staying in Reno my casino repeatedly had tweakers coming in who were getting thrown out by security, this is something I've never seen pre-covid and it was depressing as shit. To be quite honest gambling with a mask on makes me not want to gamble although it was amazing to sit and eat at a bar like a normal fucking human being again.

It felt awesome to travel again and I can't wait to do another ski trip in January out of spite for the stay at home crowd and share all about it on my Instagram stories.

Also unrelated snitches be snitching on a speakeasy restaurant in Beverly Hills.

Someone shared this meme with me on Discord in 2019. I guess it was a prophecy:

I see that as an advantage: casinos use facial-recognition in their cameras to identify card-counting cheaters. Now if you've got a face mask...and maybe one of those Boomer face shields...you can definitely count cards in blackjack and not get detected. Trying to breathe will be a bitch, though, especially with all of that cigarette smoke in the pit.

The vaccinations started here, and IMMEDIATELY after announcing that, they start saying we're getting "record new cases" and the "second wave" has arrived. Nothing suspicious here, take the shot, it's totally safe!
Maybe they just don't want people to think "The vaccine is coming, let's party like the coof is already gone!"

They already said that even if you get the vaccine, you have to keep the "sanitary measures" and wear the masks (and it's hot as hell here, so it's really uncomfortable). I think that since everyone is going out a lot due to the holidays, they're trying to spook people so they stay inside until everyone is vaccinated.

talking to normies brightens up my day.
“let’s meet up when it’s over”,
“we are making a list of places we want to visit in Tokyo next year, where do you want to go?”,
“can’t wait until universities become in person again”

so cute, they really think they will be free one day. they really think money hungry universities will swiftly go back to allowing students on campus ^_^
but that fills me up with a little hope too, surely, at some point people will revolt?..
