Which is dumb, because Notch sold off all rights to it Microsoft 5 years ago. He got 2 billion from it, and sure as fuck doesn't need any more cash from trannys.
Just to be clear for anyone who didn't bother watching his Shittiest Games list video, he never actually used this argument against the game, Didn't mention Notch at all. I wouldn't be surprised if him (and the people like him) have a passive dislike/distaste of anything Minecraft branded due to the (tenuous) connection with Notch and therefor "transphobia" but I wouldn't necessarily bet on that being the reason he put it on this list. It seems much more like a personal petty dislike of the game's simplicity therefore he things it's OBJECTIVELY BAD
minecraft dungeons, because theyres nothing wrong with it. It's not in depth, but that's because it's for younger kids. His reasoning of "well 4 year olds use phones so easy games shouldn't exist" is beyond broken logic.
It's worth noting that people like Jim always clamor for easier and more simplistic modes in games known for being hard. It's actually something that I don't really disagree with, as long as a game's vision for gameplay isn't compromised to make difficulty levels, or if the harder difficulty levels themselves aren't dumbed down, I can only see additional options being added as an extra feature, a bonus. Games are meant to be enjoyed so if more options allow more people to enjoy them? Cool. He's also said (about Dark Souls I believe it was) that he doesn't really think developers are OBLIGATED to add difficult levels, (more that he things it would be nice if they did). So if it's a legitimate choice to make games more difficult... or to make games that have many difficulty settings... why isn't it a legitimate choice to make a game which is easy and simplistic? Minecraft Dungeons is really an absurd pick for a "worst games" list, it may not be super remarkable or deep, but it's also completely inoffensive.
I used to watch these as well, looking forward to them at the end of the year. In years past, even if I disagreed with them or thought "oh that's a bullshit choice for a "worst games" list" to some of his picks, the videos were still entertaining. Even with what bias he had, he was never this sanctimonious on judging games for their percieved cultural value and contrived interpretations of what social message the game is conveying to those who play it. This year pretty much marked the point of no return for Jim into the depths of petty culture-war bullshit. Give it another year or two and he won't even dare bring up legitimate issues like crunch or predatory monetization for fear that that would take time away from centering his new trans identity or decrying the latest game to be cancelled for some nonsensical "-phobia" reason
