What storytelling?
Did you mean your usual world traveling lifestyle?

By the way, did you hear of JK Rowling?

This is all completely wrong. The legal hitch is not the name change. You can get that done for 30 bucks and a judges signature. The hitch is in getting the gender marker changed, which requires amending vital records. That is where the extra expenses and time hit.

Labelle likes to hand wave all the potential consequences regarding trans issues, usually by making the trans character a young child.

Changing your name isn't that a big deal aside from maybe making it harder for people to track you down but if you could easily and quickly legally change your gender then it opens a can of worms with issues such as a rapist changing their gender right before they go to prison so they can go to a womans prison instead of male.

Troons believe you should be able to do exactly that.

How have their drawings gotten so much worse?! It's not like they were fabulous before and there's going to be some streamlining with comics/cartoons, but it's to the point where I wonder if they ever knew how to draw or if they just polished turds enough to seem vaguely capable.

Billy is coasting on three things: his relative e-fame, his status as a tranny, and the previous comics he's drawn. He can't really draw, but then again neither can Scott Adams (creator of Dilbert.) The problem is that while Adams draws daily, Labelle only draws when something happens that he feels he must talk about, or when he feels like it.

Also, while Dilbert Merchant is kind of a sperg at a personal level, his work is at least capable of being amusing. It's made to entertain rather than preach.

The ability to keep your spergitude out of your work is paramount to being actually entertaining. The audience for AM doesn't find it amusing so much as they find it agrees with them. Humor requires a level of relating to the material - or explicitly not, for absurd stuff, but that's kind of the same idea - and when you go hard on tranny politics you cut out a bunch of your audience. Most people can relate to Dilbert, because Adams doesn't make his character rant about 4D chess.

I would also like to add that if you find the legal hurdles to jump over to get that paperwork done overly onerous, you probably should not be transitioning anyway. I imagine it is quite embarrassing having to go to various government agencies and announce you are now Sue, but all the paperwork says Steve and could you please change it? Nothing in life is free though and if you are that emotionally fragile you can't handle mild embarrassment dealing with bureaucrats who may give you a judgmental look but are still required to accommodate you, then you really should not bother because you are setting yourself up for a lifetime of emotional distress.

Probably why low effort troons are so angry all the time now that I think about it.

"Travelers".

I can't fucking believe that not only are we not allowed to used the word "gypsy", anymore, but we put "traveler" in quotation marks. It's obvious that they are talking about a specific group, and one that is not particularly liked, but they can't just use the actual word, to avoid offending a group of people that people already don't like.

To be fair, if I got arrested and could get an easier time of it by pretending to be a woman, I would absolutely do that.

I remember this one Romani guy I was in class with bringing in a guitar he made. He was absolutely amazing with it, and he was telling me that their traditional music and dances was usually about the suffering of being a Gypsy because everyone hates them.

Is there a difference between Romani and Irish Travelers? I thought they were two different nomadic ethnicities.

Why not just say Roma? Or are they actually talking about hoboes and people who just LARP as Romani?
