Also, Del has expressed EXTREME regret for how things turned out and what she did. She was (and still is) very young, naive, and has a lot of mental issues and stigmas due to her broken childhood. I'm not really surprised she ran her gab too much and fucked herself over. Still was no reason to drag her down like they did, don't care what their "reasons" were.

She fully believes she ruined her only chance at a good life, but thankfully things are looking up.

Horny memes is basically what Kiara's year-in-review video she released today showed off. Kinda disappointing that stuff like the brilliant resurrection stream got drowned out in it. The name credited as the editor at the end I had seen before… I think it's a clip channel.

That's fair, and I kinda agree. It's pretty damn weebish to think that western vtubers are all grifters and all grifters are Westerners. I think the reason that idea seems to be floating around a lot is just because there's more of a language barrier/less people willing to translate bullshittery from the JP indie community, so people assume it must not exist. You can be certain that's not the case, though.

That said, I think this case has less to do with her being Japanese and more to do with her being generally more genuine-seeming and interesting than Sharkboy. That's not exactly a hard bar to clear. Dude's about as interesting and motivated as cardboard. I would find them & their antics just as grating if they were Japanese, personally.
