Trashfire Apollo Legend suicide

I feel like if there was anything damning Apollo had in DMs, he would've dropped them. Him naming DVAU and EZscape in the note seems like it was a late addition, since in his video he said his decision wasn't driven by any internet drama. So if he was gonna change his mind and be petty, he'd drop anything worthwhile.

Exactly. Dropping dms is something you do when you think that it'll change something and you aren't going to kill yourself. He probably figured if there was anything to release it wouldn't make his situation better, and he had no other options to get out. Its also worth noting he probably viewed ezscape ghosting him less as internet drama and something more personal.

I'm not saying the two of them told him to kill himself. I'm saying there may have been more said that can give better context to it. It might have even been as simple as ezscape saying "I'm done with you, you're unhinged." From the Twitlonger it didn't seem like ezscape even knew the extent of his medical problems and how those were impacting apollo's thought process.

When i heard this guy uses the chinese spyware known as tiktok I immediately decided to not watch him at all (this was when he released the paying-editor controversy videos). Also, boycotting chickfila is the definition of useless virtue signaling and choosing what to consoom based on criteria completely unrelated to that is relevant. The food is delicious, im glad their chicken sandwich has a kraft single on it so i dont have to ask for it extra, and who cares where the money goes it's their money because I gave it to them to get food. I guess it is your personal choice but making a big fuss about it online to try to make a bigger deal out of not giving them five dollars and fifty cents is retarded.
I don't know if you're just memeing or what, but TikTok really is no more spyware than Facebook or Instagram. The only difference is that it's Chinese spyware rather than western spyware, and I'd rather be monitored by the CCP than by the Five Eyes - I'm not in their jurisdiction.

I honestly don't get why people blame EZScape and DarkViper for his suicide. They called him out on being shady or were relaying information others gathered. I am however, sick and fucking tired of Keemstar's bullshit where now he suddenly cares about Apollo's mental health, because if there's one guy who should talk about mental health it's the dude who pressured Blade into drinking while he was trying to quit.

My only contribution to this whole clusterfuck is that I've recently started watching DarkViperAU. If there was any SJW nonsense from him I didn't hear any offer several multiple-hour speed runs. DVAU definitely has anger issues and 100% thinks he's the smartest person in the room, but I don't believe for a second he stiffed anyone for work. The dude's straight-laced as fuck. He pays multiple editors, I'm pretty sure he even pays his mods. He can't stand the slightest bit of ambiguity and wants things done exactly his way, so the idea of him tempting fate by stiffing someone of 30 dollars is not in line with his character or stream behavior at all.

I'm in two minds about this: on the one hand I mostly sided with Apollo Legend when it came to the actual controversies he was involved with, he was definitely in the right with the Billy Mitchell and Games Done Quick videos he made. But on the other hand, the fact that he thought that fucking killing himself was a proportionate response to Internet drama is insane, and explicitly calling people out by name as if to insinuate that it's their fault is honestly pretty scummy. I genuinely wasn't expecting this outcome, not at all. There had to have been more going on behind the scenes.

Just played over voice chat with Tipster, Augie, Nick DeOrio, and one other a Deputy Hagdoll (sp?) who confirmed to us that he was found deceased. That's the same Deputy I spoke to earlier.
This group of people are fucking shamless. I've made comments in other threads about them. Just losers LARPing as journalists.

Don't know shit about Viper but agree on EZScape, they were just saying what they thought had to be said & EZ even private his video once the refunds were confirmed. EZscape also comes off as someone extremely sensitive to suicide & mental health issues so i'm assuming he feels like complete shit right now.
At the end of the day Apollo Legend made entertaining content, rest in peace.

Here, gamers, let me help you. This one has been gravedancing all night.

It was a pretty bitch move to use his suicide note to throw shade at a couple of dudes, but I can't deny the tenacity to go through with it. I kind of admire it.
Really? Because the best word that I can think to describe it is abusive. He did it to try and make two other people feel responsible for an action that he chose to take. Thinking that you're personally responsible for ending another person's life (inadvertently or otherwise) can immensely fuck you up, that's the kind of thing that keeps you awake at night, I wouldn't want to inflict that kind of guilt on my worst enemy. It's incredibly cruel to try and weaponise people's sense of guilt, especially over something so trivial.

Yeah it's cruel, but he was also legitimately suicidal and being in such a clearly shitty mental state should mean people can give his comments some amount of leeway. Both in regards to judging him for making them, and also when it comes to judging those he blamed.

I fully expect most people to handwave them away. Some shitheads, from all 'sides', wont but they would have been cunts even if he didn't make the comments.
