"On Ethan van Sciver's channel, he's been privating or deleting livestreams as fast as he can. In a recent one he had to deal with further fallout as Richard proclaimed Mags' latest outing one of "the best comics of 2020."
In a year with Grant Morrison's GL, Geoff Johns and Jay Fabok Three Jokers, and a number of quality indie books, I don't know how you make that claim...."
They aren't deleted or privated. They're unlisted. You can still access them with the links I post on Twitter, and for my channel members, I post those links again in the community tab.
The reason I do this is because I started working towards growing my stagnant channel again in November. Posting short videos, at least 1 per day, and doing fewer livestreams, tells YouTube to recommend my videos more, and that's how you get subscribers.
You can still do livestreams, but it slows growth. The best thing to do is to Unlist them, which hides them from the your timeline, but still leaves them accessible to fans. For some reason, YouTube will then reward you with more recommendations.
There's no "fall out" from Zack saying he liked Mags' comic. I comically groan and bitch about it, and then we move on.
