The outfit was so pretty...im really sad that there were a lot of things prepared for him that never ended up being used. But since he had to quit for health reasons, it eases the pain a little in that he did it for his own sake

Much like Aloe I believe the door is open if his condition improves and he wishes to return, but I would rather him be happy and healthy than continue doing something he physically struggles with.

Coco posts on reddit/twitter that she's doing a meme review and who the guest is about 24 hours in advance. Then I'm pretty sure she does meme-picking within those 24 hours. She also casually browses the sub so occasionally an older meme or two she saved gets put in.

Is that the case though, is the door open? Unless they've actually said it, which I don't remember reading, that's speculation. Not saying they wouldn't, because we know how accommodating Cover can be to their talents (and I assume that would extend to ex-talents who left in good terms), but they've never been in a situation where a retired talent wants to come back; that'd be breaching new territory. But I will say I'd be curious on how they would handle it.
Also something interesting, Nene has "Omarun 3D ! ! ! !" on her weekly schedule, 1/10 to be exact. Uhhhhh....was she supposed to spill those beans...?

Societal, Japanese society are hard wired by the concept of not annoying others, that's why she read that comment about people that take the initiative are amazing and in fact they are, i get her train of thoughts because here in the west such demonstrations are so incredibly rare that people immediately believe is a) a lie or b) a political stunt
I'm still laughing because someone in discord said "oh Holostar is doing a collab with touken ranbu" and it gave me a fit
A shame that he leaved us, this year looks good for Holostar

I enter Astel, Izuru and Aruran's apex stream on a whim to look for background noise and the first thing i hear is Astel and Izuru sounding like (very convincing, especially Izuru) girls and Aruran sounding like Mickey Mouse

Usually Coco announces who is the next guest earlier than just 24h in advance and giving enough time to reddit to churn out memes. Although she announced that she wants to put JP memes in next review so maybe the change of pace is for the better.
And yeah, Izuru can make really convincing girl voice although he frequently fluctuates between that and female seiyuus voicing male characters(not Goku or Naruto tier).

I assume they're going to announce it to the public today or tomorrow, but obviously told the talents beforehand so they don't overlap/schedule anything for that frame. But, Nene being Nene put it into her weekly schedule before they could say anything lol.

Aqua seems more like a weird idiot-savant, though, whereas I think Nene and Kiara are more ditzy-blonde.
Like Aqua has basically no outside knowledge (which as a shy hikkikimori I guess makes sense [then again I did decent on the test and I’m at least an aspirational hikki, so who knows]) but at the same time, she’s amazing at all things gaming, which the other two are less so.
Also, been doing my New Year’s visits, and this is what Ars is wearing. so far she‘s the only NJSJ I’ve seen with a costume.

With how good she is at most games, yet how unabashedly socially-fucked and stupid she can be, lot of people narrative and joke about Aqua being autistic, and I kinda believe it at this point; she has all the major boxes for it checked off in bold ink. That's probably why, according to Aqua herself, her mother is so concerned with her wanting to move out on her own, to Tokyo of all places, and even hinted to Aqua that maybe she'd move with her whenever she goes. Aqua definitely seems to be unironically socially inept to the point where she can't even hold eye contact for more than second (according to Choco and Mio), so her living alone in a big city doesn't seem feasible for her.
Thinking about that and how her, Pekora, and Subaru all went out to eat after their Curry Meshi collab show makes me laugh. Imagine Subaru, the most open and extroverted Holo, trying to steer conversation and push the two most socially-crippled, anxiety-ridden, introverted Holos while out and about on the town.
