I think it's an overcorrection from the statutory rape laws put in place in the 70's and 80's. There was so much culture of "16 will get you 20" that I think most people forgot that there is such a thing as nuance.
Fortunately, most of the non-twidiots I've seen talking about this have been more critical of him "using his fame" rather than the actual age difference, so some level of sanity remains.

The recent trend of accusations against e-celebs involving minors is really starting to form into a domino effect, at this point the whole youtube gaming community is going to get outed as some breeding ground for foul-play, who knows the next male youtube who's getting publicly executed. It's almost near impossible to avoid getting into a controversy that I think becoming e-famous is not even worth it in today's societal norms.
I also find it massively fucking hilarious that twitter treated the Pyro situation with so much unnecessary misandry, Ivory was pretty much discriminated against and criticized much more harshly than Carson's accuser, and barely got the same attention on the platform even with Pyro having a larger audience than Carson.

The whole "104 hours in Pregnancy" thing is almost certainly a joke. The game came out in 2015 but got unlisted sometime in early 2019 according to archives. Before that, it sold for $1.99. Reviews are mixed, with most of the positive reviews being mostly if not completely ironic. Judging by a full playthrough on youtube of the game, it's so poorly written, boring, and lacking in substance that even the most desperate pedophile rapist would struggle to jerk off to it.
From what I understand of Carson's humor, this seems to match. Having an absurd amount of hours in a shitty game with a shocking premise seems like something he would do for a laugh so he could record his friends' reactions to seeing it and put them in a video.
