Some recent Comicsgate related news for our first Comicsgate News Update of the year.
FROM INDIEGOGO
After nearly two years of waiting and a Walmart deal later, Mitch Breitweiser informed his backers that the book is in it's final stages. As stated in a previous update the backers can expect extra
goodies tchotchkes as a peace offering to disgruntled backers. Mitch claims that the additional trading cards are being printed, the lapel pins sample has been approved and the new custom shipping boxes are being manufactured. The books themselves "are nearing a final edit" yet no date for fulfillment has been confirmed. Given previous similar updates, whether the book will be fulfilled soon remains a mystery.

An even older update from Ya Boi Zack was missed on both his overdue Expendables and Jawbreakers: Grand Bizarre from 26 days ago. Both books had been pushed back for a December 2020 fulfillment ideally for Christmas, however Zack states that he is returning to in house fulfillment given the rising costs of his fulfillment service. The books are expected to ship now in January 2021 and will come bagged and boarded, a video discussing this change can be found
here.

Speaking of Liam Gray he has recently ceased streaming on his main
Conquest Comics youtube channel and began streaming on a backup channel
Unintelligent Designs. Rumor has it Liam was the recipient of a copyright strike on his main channel, which if true would be quite ironic given his own history of flagging.

Frog is currently streaming and promoting Zack's latest campaign
499 with Cecil for company before the topic turned to Alex DeCampi's recent comments on her kickstarter update as reported on by
@KingofNothing above.
VikkiVerse and DA Talks did a stream covering the recent livestream between Testefy and Pan in which Pan very stupidly admitted to having access to backer information on Vestige 2. They also covered Oz Show panelist Berserk Gut's recent appearance claiming to know of much backroom dealings and dirty laundry drops coming soon. Both topics were recently discussed on the farms found
here.
After previously denigrating Nasser as a soyboy, the peoples champion produced a magnanimous video suggesting that Donal's share of the Cash Grab money should go to his former Brutas collaborator.
And lastly Micheal Bancroft, Liam Gray and Vinnie Tartamella all joined Red Gaze to shill Vinnie's latest campaign, a pirate comic called
Shadow of the Kraken.
A week into the New Year and things are relatively quiet in Comicsgate and in general. Other related recent news was the
fresh round of lay offs from DC which had been discussed previously in the thread and the
cancellation of DC's Aquaman which was being wrote by Bitch Planet author Kelly Sue Deconnick.
Hope you're all still enjoying the New Year and stay safe out there.
