OK. I see what he is saying. His wife filed a complaint, and eventually it was granted that her name be removed for the complaint to protect her from further discrimination down the line. But we archivists captured a picture and people are able to use the farms to find out who it was behind that particular complaint (that had nothing to do with Yaniv).
It would do us no damage to black out the name but I don't know if administrators will agree. I also think that it would take a pretty autistic person to connect the dots here and therefore question any reputational damage.
@leom I am not an adminstrator, nor did I make the original post. Most of us are unable to do anything to help because we simply do not have the power. Deletions are very rarely granted. If I were you, I would click the 'Talk to Staff' link and make a resquest to have your wife's name blacked out. The request should be polite, layout your case, include screen shots of search results that return her name on Kiwi Farms, and her name. Talk to staff would be between just you and staff and no one else would be able to see it nor would it appear in any search results or other places on the web.
I don't know how this will end, but in my experience the adminstrators are pretty fair to average citizens. But as archivists, deletion is not something that is done except in very rare circumstances. Hence my suggestion you ask for a black out instead of a deletion. Good Luck to you.
