This right here highlights the divide in the nation almost perfectly. It's almost poetry.

People who spent 9 months rioting over police brutality, burning down stores and homes, killing and injuring innocent people and bystanders, who screamed ACAB and F13! and who even have ACAB in their screen names or bios, relentlessly cheering and clapping when someone on the other side gets killed by the same people they were supposedly protesting.

They don't look and say "There but for the grace of God go I", no, it's all "LOL U GOT PWND" and pointing and laughing and deliberately posting the cruelest things they can in the hopes that it hurts people inside.

Both sides do it. Hell, I've been guilty of it, I'm not afraid to say, but this is why the divide is there and why it will remain.

One side wants to scream that felons in the act of committing crimes cannot be harmed, the other wants to claim that people engaged in insurrection activities should not have been harmed, while each points at the others casaulties and says "LOL".

And the whole time the people who enable it, who get rich off of it, who foment and agitate it, breathe a sigh of relief that they were passed by when the rage visited now that they have managed to get the right story out to villanize the correct wrongthinking side.

We're all being played for fucking fools. All of us.

Frankly, I'd say it was the end of Rational debates online. It goes way back to when the Atheists debated the religious nutters. After that, it was Atheists vs Atheist+ Then the Skeptics and the Feminists spawned from those groups and then the rest was history. So the way I see it, it really began on Youtube. Talk about a massive case of winning the battle but lost the war.

like the military isnt made up of mostly infantry believe it or not.

and hell the military is in actuality so fat they have a deficit of special forces candidates IIRC

Wrong. So very very wrong.
The Roman Empire was destroyed by multiple groups of barbarian tribes, which can be split into three basic categories:
1. The border Foederati, which were (((allies))) of Rome and basically served as buffer states within the empire. The most notable of these were the Franks, who later conquered all of Gaul to form a chiefdom that would eventually become modern France. The Franks were Germanic, but on the "wrong" side of the Rhine; so were forced to fight other Germanic tribes that wanted to raid the lands inside the Roman Empire; until the Franks realized the Roman Army was in full retreat from the British Isles and Gaul, so decided to conquer Gaul for themselves.
2. The migration barbarian tribes from what is today Ukraine. This included the Visigoths and Ostrogoths; who would conquer Spain and Italy, respectively. Both of these tribes were forced to leave their lands by the Huns, fought as mercenaries/foederati for a bit, then decided to loot and pillage their way into the Roman Empire's best provinces.
3. The Huns. Crazy nomadic nomads from central Asia. This group does not need to be explained.

So in short, Rome was not conquered by peasants.

I don't think you understand how stimulus checks work. All that matters is it is spent. Doesn't matter if it's dumped into anime FunkoPops, it's called "stimulus" for a reason.
