I'll give you that. That was mildly entertaining. God, I'm an asshole.More heroic than anything BLM ever did.
When it comes to Trump, if there's one lesson that should b learned from 2016, it's "never presume he'll never win an election".I mean it's not like he's getting elected again after this, reasons for it are up to everyone, plus do they think he can't be tried for prison after he leaves office?
They have little strips of red and white reflective caution tape on all their glocks. I have no idea what that means, but usually guns are only marked on the outside like that if they have some kind of specialty ammo in them. Kind of the same reason why you see cops carrying bright yellow shotguns for non-lethals.
They expected the crowd to just mill around and pick fights with Antifa.Nah. That's just the cops not getting paid nearly enough to engage in violent clashes with a mob when they're not properly equipped and have no backup ready to go. Especially when most of said mob doesn't appear to be eager to hurt random people or destroy random chunks of the capitol complex. Most cops aren't exactly eager to kill random people, particularly cops that get themselves stationed at a place like capitol hill. The result is that when the mob starts pushing the front line too hard it's time to let them through and act friendly while monitoring them, while the job of actually stopping them becomes someone else's problem.
The real question is why they were so unprepared for this in the first place. They likely should have had enough warning to set up heavier barricades ahead of time, as well as had more people and heavier gear from the start.
That's a fair point. Plus this recent stint could be rationalized as a bunch of people get heated up into doing some action. Action that was bound to happen but I don't think that counts as premeditated. When it comes to Trump, if there's one lesson that should b learned from 2016, it's "never presume he'll never win an election".
Also he won't be charged for anything, at least federally (NY state might take a shot at it).
As many people have mentioned here no president wants to set the precedent for having the last guy prosecuted, because they're very aware that will come around to bite them in the ass.
And that's assuming there's actual federal crimes that prosecutors think they could prove beyond a reasonable doubt (there aren't any right now, nothing even close, as far as is known). If there's no evidence of federal crimes that could clear that hurdle, there's nothing to send him to prison over in the first place. "I hate him and everything he stands for" isn't a valid reason to throw someone in prison.
Huh, they got more firepower and muscle than I would have guessed. Apparently they were the goon squad that caught all the flack for Trump’s dumb pointless walk during the DC protests. They have little strips of red and white reflective caution tape on all their glocks. I have no idea what that means, but usually guns are only marked on the outside like that if they have some kind of specialty ammo in them. Because conservatives, broadly speaking, don't riot. The Tea Party, the Virginia gun ban protests, MAGA rallies? Nothing ever happens save some throwdowns with antifa and sometimes they even pick up after themselves. Capitol hill police thought that they'd come up to the barricades, chant and give some speeches like they usually do.Nah. Entirely too optimistic and living in the past.As many people have mentioned here no president wants to set the precedent for having the last guy prosecuted, because they're very aware that will come around to bite them in the ass
This is why I think the cops seemed so unprepared to deal with the BLM riots too.Nah. That's just the cops not getting paid nearly enough to engage in violent clashes with a mob when they're not properly equipped and have no backup ready to go. These images are worth more than $2k to me.They should've scared them enough to give us $2000.
Hey wasn't there a massive C&P from 4chan explaining that any revolution that happens will be run by Commissar Bubba and Jamal?
More heroic than anything BLM ever did.
I think because Trump supporters aren't known to riot and damage property. If this was Antifa or BLM, then they would bring more officers since they know how they act. After this, however, expect Trump supporters getting the same treatment as BLM and Antifa.Nah. I think that's really what bugs me the most. For the first time in a billion years there's anybody on the right even remotely standing up (wihout killing a bunch of people) and it's immediately a chorus "oh no that was some other guys" like, wtf, are you that fucking scared somebody might think you'll do more than call some talk show to cry about shit?View attachment 1835402
dang nabbit, Antifa dun tricked us again
I think one of them shitted themselves.
All Joes are Bastards?I've said it before and I'll say it again, but AJAB
Considering how long they've been in Congress and Senate, I don't doubt that.I think one of them shitted themselves.![]()
