Also, my general thoughts towards this whole debacle have been that politicians need to be afraid of us again, and if the Capitol building has to be stormed in order for them to be reminded that they serve us then so be it. Also the FNV memes are hysterical.

It's not 2008 anymore. Republicans were still seen as a threat in 2008-2016. But they've been completely destroyed during the last 4 years. Democrats have a much larger "mandate" to pass policy.
