1/6/21 a reign of terror so horrible that it made 9/11/00 look like a barbque
In the words of Chuck Schumer "A new Pearl Harbor"
Jesus did not suffer as much on the cross as our brave congress and senate did when the special ed class got lost.
We Need a Patriot Act 2.0 to prevent such horrid attrocities from ever happening again.

you mean 9/11/01?

'I guess Tyrone shouldn't have slightly moved his hand in the general direction of one of his pockets a moment before he was shot by that cop :)'

'NOOO, WHY ARE THESE POLITICIANS COVERING IN FEAR AFTER HEARING THAT THEIR BUILDING IS CURRENTLY GETTING RAIDED BY RADICALS WITH NO DIRECT VIDEO FEED TO CONFIRM HOW SERIOUS THEY ARE!!!? THESE WERE THE BOOMERS OF PEACE! SAY HER NAME, SAY HER NAME, SAY HER NAME!'
Imagine thinking a bunch of boomers walking into the capitol building were 'radicals'. And imagine sticking up for politicians.

Mixed feelings on that woman's shooting. On the one hand, no one was in imminent danger, on the other hand she's trying to break down a barricade and get past the secret service agents that protect the fucking Vice President which is kind of a reeeeally fucking stupid thing to do.

Mostly I just feel sad that it happened, because it seems pretty a pretty fucking pointless death in the scheme of things. Big Charlottesville vibes tbh, where the narrative for the event would/could have been completely different if not for one incident at the tail end of it, and instead of propagating a relatively peaceful message the participants/organisers get their lives ruined.
Secret Service doesn't operate on normal law enforcement rules of engagement. There were multiple VIPs, you don't know if they have weapons or bombs or anything else or what they intend to do. They're trained to eliminate any threats to those they're protecting. The gun was out. You SEE that gun was out. They're not going to ask you what your intentions are. They're going to fucking kill you.

Yes, it is a senseless death. But the fault lies with her. This entire incident was fucking senseless. People are going to fucking jail for this.

This is the farms, where we laugh at retards. The protestors were fucking retards.

Was it the no-shit Secret Service? I've heard it was anything from Capitol Police to armed Park Service officers.

Because they had no goal. What was their goal? What was the point? It was just impotent, pointless rage and destruction. Say what you will about BLM, at least it had a point and demands, as laughable as they were. This exercise was idiotic, pointless and basically obliterated any support Trump may have had. It was self destructive and got a woman killed because she thought she was storming the bastille or some shit.

#StopTheSteal, force a recount and install the True Heir Trump to the throne.

Its not like they didn't have stupid goals. What are you going on about.

I honestly don't know what people expected after this insane showing. Yeah, no shit he's going to concede.

Pence was present, so it was highly likely it was the Secret Service.

They utterly failed to communicate that. It looked like a disorganized mob that wanted to meme and be retarded boomers.

Charge at a cop with a knife, get shot. Rush the sitting VP and his Congresscritter friends at the head of an angry mob, get shot. Wanna do something dangerous, prepare to die, it's as simple as that.

Other than that it was a fun party though.

They could not possibly have been in any real danger if they found time to go on twitter and type that out.

Not an endorsement of the MAGA idiots but the "I can't believe I have to write this" is so symbolic of the lives these people lead. My elementary school in the US got bomb threats twice in a fairly affluent suburban neighborhood. These people are one step removed from bombing innocent civilians on the regular and try to play the sympathy card when people get actively mad at them for the first time since the vietnam war? Fuck off honestly, just call them idiots and move on instead of trying to tell me how bad you have it when you finally have to face the consequences of your own actions

I just keep thinking... Why couldn't it have been Baked Alaska instead?

In all seriousness though, I get it. I don't particularly blame the SS agent. It's pretty fucking easy to justify it from their point of view, especially with the later footage. Can't really laugh over the woman being dead though. I said pointless, you say senseless. Much the same. Just a dumb fucking way to end your life, much like the entire point of the event and the sentiment behind it was wasted by storming the buildings.

It's real

you mean 9/11/01?
I did, woke up way too early and couldn't get back to sleep.
I have a feeling that our congress leaders are gonna basically use some larper retards playing "self guided tour" as the new standard for lowering what is considered terrorism and tech is gonna help all along the way.

What the Trumptards did was cringe
What our elected representatives did was cringier

Oh also no one brought up that Wikileaks has had leaks on Smartmatic vote rigging since the Manning leaks. Not that it matters. I've lost hope in anything good being real anymore.

Then I have to ask you: If all the cops are supposed to do is stand there breathing menacingly, how are they supposed to stop the angry mob?
Without any kind of cop/ss protection, this mob would have went berserk on whatever politician they'd find in that building, there's simply no argument there.

The cops/SS had to use force at some point. Teargas, rubber bullets and so on were used before the mob entered the building. I doubt that rubber bullets are standard issue for the kinds of guys in charge of security inside the Capitol and they clearly had no teargas or anything else. The secret service drew a line and shot the person trying to step over it. She got shot. It's shitty that she got shot, but it was a really stupid thing to push your luck to that point.

You're saying that the police were in place and would be able to stop the mob from crossing a line. They did. Turns out, they didn't fuck around with their response.
And just to clear something up: I'm not happy that she died and I'm not saying that she deserved to die, but if you allow me this level of callousness: It falls under the rule of "Fuck around and find out" if you ask me. She gets the same amount of scrutiny that I was using for antifa and BLM riots. She doesn't get a bonus for being from the other side of the political divide.
I absolutely does fall under that. It's just depressing to see people I know who were fully onboard the BLM stuff turn tact to start saying it too. As much as I hate the last years worth of riots at least they stood behind principles. I guess to a lot of people here it's not surprising but to see all those people I personally know turn around and say "fuck around and find out" today of all days when it could be the perfect opportunity to bridge the divide and drive their point home is depressing as hell

Normally this never happens because when a government official is out and about giving speeches or doing some sort of presser the crowds that are allowed near them are vetted and are being watched from all angles these situations are very controlled. This situation was spontaneous off the cuff and unpredictable, it is these situations that assassins and bombers would cream their pants to be in but rarely ever get the opportunity because security and screening block their chances.

I think the protest was pretty cool. I don't even get what the problem is. Went to the capitol caused a ruckus, stole some shit from the government and went home. I dunno, looked like a good time to me but I was too busy at the gym to even know any of this shit was going on lmao hope everyone had fun.
