What is the army gonna do? Shell cities they think might harbor trumpers? Send in F-15s? Nuke Montana? Keep in mind this is the same military that can't hold Iraq or Afghanistan from insurgent behavior. Nobody is going to march out into an open field and start shooting a shotgun against a tank. That's not how asymetrical conflict works. But a truck full of anfo once in awhile? One guy with a rifle shooting from inside an SUV's rear cabin like those guys in DC back in the day? That's what I would worry about.

If shit goes bad I don't think either side will be wiped out. Just... maybe tired out.

Even my family won't shut the fuck up now about politics. The amount of people who keep repeating to themself if you voted Trump in 2016, it's your fault all of this happen as they ignore how antifa was trying to block people from saving children in the one building that caught in fire or the crying black father who's son was killed in that autistic Seattle zone. Tienanmen Square is only a big deal because of the way the media talks about it (for instance the event is not a big deal in China, where the media ignores/underplays it)
Poor white working class Trump supporters are hated by the media more than anyone else. The fact that they pulled a stunt like this has every media faucet fuming made.
If they opened fire into the crowd, it just be reported as white supremacist insurrectionists getting smoked and the media would be opening celebrating it.

Even I am disappointed, and I'm not even American. I wouldn't have exactly called myself a supporter, but I trusted he could prove someone other than the left could actually do a good job in ruling the country, after several years of smug liberalism that did nothing but divide people.

I love how lefties' response to some black guy getting murdered is set their own cities on fire and smash up local businesses who probably vote Democrat.
