If I was in Trump's position right now, here's what I'd do within the next two weeks.

1. Issue a full pardon to Julian Assange and Edward Snowden
2. Issue a blanket pardon to the Capitol Building rioters since they were on federal property. Both of these pardons would be a final middle finger to the bigwigs.
3. Give a statement of resignation effective 24 hours after the pardon and let Pence warm the seat until Biden is sworn in.

But that is it - and the latter dies off eventually. Trump wont win them another election; and conversely if they do not assist in burying Trump then they will not win another election either.

Your missing the point. The voters are all that matter. Both sides acknowledge that most trump supporters are die-hards, literally go read the donald rn if you actually doubt this, and A LARGE majority of Trump's 80m votes are from these people. Very little establishment republican voters actually voted for him cuz they're loyal to romney's request to vote for a "reasonable biden", so you can imagine the majority actually voted for trump, not the R. That means enough of these people are very willing to jump ship to a new party given the opportunity, whether its lead by trump or if it ran on the ideals of "maga." Romney and McCain didn't get blown out just cuz obama was a nigger, its because they were weak and did not draw the public support to even 1/5th like how trump did.
