So what are the predictions for a Biden presidency? I'm curious what you guys all think he'll do once he's sworn in.

From an international standpoint, I suspect China is probably going to land an amphibious force to take Kinmen Island in the next year from Taiwan. They'll want to get a better idea of the response from a Biden administration to military force against Taiwan.

It doesn't hurt that they can likely take it without firing a shot if the Taiwanese Marines and special forces based on the island are ordered to stand down to prevent a broader war from breaking out.

Depending on a Biden administration response, China would use their experience taking Kinmen Island to properly plan a full-scale naval invasion of Taiwan. Taiwan can kick the shit out of a Chinese amphibious force trying to cross the Strait, but without American (and NATO) support, I don't believe they'd survive a protracted siege and then invasion by China.

This time last year I was hoping that the Wu Flu and a fractious response by the CCP would bring about at best a weakening of the CCP and at most it's destruction. I'm sorry to say that China looks stronger now than it ever has thanks to an administration that at best appears to be neutral to China and at worst has been bribed by it.
