What I'm saying is that any lawyer who helps him is subject to ridiculous levels of threats and professional intimidation, with nothing being done about it. Only a fool would take that case on his side.

I agree Biden and Harris especially will not hesitate to throw Antifa and other leftie rioters away as soon as their term starts. The main difference is it won't be reported by any left-leaning media outlet, or if it is it will be blamed on Trump somehow or just generic evil white supremacist cops or something.

I highly doubt status quo dems are all that fond of Antifa and pals either beyond them being useful idiots, the instant they start becoming a threat to someone other than poor and working class people the hammer will come down hard. Even the corporations that publically licked the asses of rioters I'm sure have expressed much different feelings on them privately.

I can honestly see Antifa unofficially being coopted by the establishment, with organization, information, and funding tied to glow-in-the-dark NGOs. Even with its decentralized structure, the flow of information/info provided will be tied to the establishment, and won’t really affect any change that threatens the establishment on the whole.

In the end, all the organizing power will lie in the former, while the actual ideological Antifa fades away as anyone truly dangerous either gets coopted or arrested, rendering it harmless except as a source of circle-jerking true-believers and aimless anarchists- useful as cannon fodder and for sensational news snippets.

Anti-Trumpism is the only force holding her fractured party together, and the establishment political class wants to send a message that outsiders who try for the presidency will be hounded and destroyed.

It's sad because I remember my elementary school teacher telling the class that one reason America is special is because anyone could become president. "Even you could become president someday!" Only allowing people to become president who were born into political families is not much different from having a royal class. It seems like no matter what society the world over to try and make things in support of everyone, things have a tendency to naturally drift back to oligarchy or monarchy.
