"There are only two reasons why any human does anything:
1. It's a mandatory obligation
2. It benefits them in some way"
Oh yes, because nobody has ever taken time out of their day to help somebody else without expecting anything in return. Last week at the grocery store, I overheard some boomer complain about how he couldn't find a certain type of peanut butter, so I decided to help him out. We couldn't find it, but he thanked me anyways, and after that I just went on with my day. Helping that guy out wasn't my obligation, and it didn't benefit me in any way to do so (Not even on some sort of social level, seeing as how I will probably never see that guy again in my life), so if the world really works they way Alex suggest, then I wouldn't have done that. Fuck off with this cringey ass cynicism.
"If you have a desire within yourself to be violent, you will adopt a philosophy that permits you to categorize a group of people worthy of violence."
"If you have a desire within yourself to abuse and mistreat another human, you will adopt beliefs that permit you to categorize a person as being worthy of harm and harassment"
"In short, people who were already pre-disposed towards harming other human beings in the first place have decided to look at me from whatever perspective will permit them to feel justified in performing the actions they have always wanted to perform; mocking, shaming, humiliating, abusing, mistreating, harassing another human being"
Pot calling the kettle black right here.
"In reality, taking a long time to finish a video game is not actually valid justification to ridicule or harass another person. It's merely an indication that the developer is struggling with numerous obstacles, and needs help".
1: Who the fuck is criticizing Alex solely because the game is taking a long time to finish?
2: The reason Alex needs so much help at this stage to begin with is because he is unwilling to improve his own abilities, and has to ride off the back of his volunteers, whom he treats like shit and continues to do so (Hence why the number of them has gradually shrunk over the years). That's not even taking into account the fact that Alex oftentimes creates more obstacles that he has to deal with on purpose.
