Phil just said that he was afraid to hurt someone if they ever broke into the snort fort and he wasn’t being sarcastic at all about it. Imagine this geriatric fending off trolls with a hand axe. Lmao bro I fuckin can’t
Reminds me of the story Viscant retold about Phil wanting to kick his ass. After Dave found out that Viscant was a kickboxer who trained every single day for years at that point, he tried to discourage Viscant from mashing his potato-shaped head with headkicks by making him jump through dumber and dumber hoops. One of them was getting Viscant to sign a contract stating that Dave wouldn't be liable if he killed Viscant in the ring. lmao

"If I played my mains on SF I would win almost every game, people would eventually just quit the lobbies because they would think 'fuck this' ". And now he is giving financial advice on if you should repay loans or save money and paying off credit cards.
He's gonna have to do it and prove it.

@Surly Muppet Phil's entitlement knows no limit. Say what you will about some of the girls on Pornhub who do all kinds of shit on camera, at least if I were to pay them to dress up as Princess Leia and blow Chewbacca, I would actually get what I paid for. If they don't want to do something, they don't take the money for it.

To make it worse, he's also indulging his laziness and refusal to get laughed at. And if the tips are low, he is going to bitch and blame anyone and anything but himself.

This is why I wish his fans would abandon him. Forever. Hoping for something else bad just means more and more pitybux. Fuck that, I'm rooting for the gravy train to derail and explode. Asshole deserves it.

He also said that he thinks it's more fun to keep the challenge level up and make it a bit more difficult for himself, so he can better entertain the stream.

Such a weird, weird thing to say. Phil, play ranked. I don't think you'll even raise THAT much before you start getting trounced by actually competent players. Go to fightcade. You don't want a challenge, you want to keep fighting players who you know are worse than you to not face any actual, you know, challenge. I know you read here and all, but fuck, stop trying to pretend it's otherwise. If you welcomed a challenge you'd fight Goji and EvilAJ.

You were losing on the Switch version as soon as you got your BP a little up, for fuck's sakes.

The only people who play this weird ass 30th anniversary version are random people and stream snipers if Phil wants a challenge he knows what he should do.

His aversion to fightcade is really telling. Mind you honestly he wouldn't even be able to set it up.
I loved his excuse. First he said that people on Fightcade are tryhards. It's true but that just shows that his ego is too fragile and he knows that he's gonna get peaced out by anyone he plays. Then he said that playing on PC allows you to set up macros, which is cheating. Also true, but I've been playing on Fightcade for years and I only run into people who cheat in any way, not just by setting up macros, once a month tops. And those fuckers get banned immediately anyway.

Phil wants a challenge? Then why is he ducking Gojitenks? Why is he ducking Divinity? Why doesn't he ever pick the highest difficulty setting on anything? Why does he play a mobile game that is all about spending money and getting lucky? Why did he marry a woman with no standards or ambitions? Why is the tips goal not tied to his performance in a game? Why does he celebrate getting lucky instead of being talented? Why doesn't play Guilty Gear? Why doesn't he show off his awesome talent by doing tutorials like Bafael does? Why did he stop competing? Why does he only have a 4th place win at one Evo tournament at an old-ass game to brag about? Why doesn't he try doing amy speedruns? Why doesn't he form any lobbies with people he knows are good? Why did he complain about being matched up with a guy he practiced with?

I could go on, but you get the point I'm sure.

Plus, I mean at least if he played against a hacker then he could honestly claim it's bullshit. He won't even TRY fightcade.

He doesn't want that because he sometimes wins, and against legit cheaters he never would. He would rather have a coin toss with some excuses at the ready for when it doesn't land in his favor, and that sweet dopamine rush when it does. It's what he is used to, after all, and a change would be bad because it always is.

I think Phil doesn't know what "tryhard" means, because his refusal to fight any indicates cowardice.
C'mon..........he's a married mature adult. :story:
(sorry......I had to do it)
I ain't mad, in fact I'm leaving the typo. lol

The tryhard excuse is a joke because he is a tryhard. He gets angry when he loses at all, he gets angry when people pick characters with penne points that he doesn't know how to play, he gets angry when he can't run a lobby because someone like Goji or AJ turn up and mop the floor with his droopy face, he gets angry when someone doesn't play by his patterns, he gets angry that SF/CoD/Smash/Fall Guys/recently said Mario Kart aren't 'competitively valid'. So he's competing. To win. So he's a tryhard. So he should be on fightcade with like-minded individuals.

But the reality is that Phil wants to be the only tryhard. He wants everyone else to be casuals that he can crush and go uncontested because they don't care enough to practice and learn the patterns/cheese strats. Like how he seems to enjoy CoD the most when the matchmaking puts him in with the Derich bots who will run down the hallway he keeps camping, throwing themselves at his bullets so he can call in a chopper gunner. They should all just be fodder for his ego.

I always think of the 'chase the tail' game on Fall Guys. Phil reasoned that he should just stand still for 40 seconds, then grab a tail in the last 10. Anything else was dumb and unnecessary effort on the road to winning. Meanwhile, everyone else is playing the game for fun, and aiming to win while they do that. It's like kids playing 'tag'. Nobody 'wins', the experience is the game. This is doubly true when you're a streamer - you run like an idiot for 40 seconds because that's fun to watch. You don't stand still for 40 and then grab a win at the end. We're no here to watch you tryhard to win in the most direct way possible, we're here to watch a game.

Ignoring Fightcade while playing this busted version every Friday is a testament to Phil's constant and absolute misrepresentation of who he is as a person.

Why did he complain about being matched up with a guy he practiced with?
I'm still trying to figure out the logic of that complaining. He bitched he was put up against Valle and Tokido. Then he bitched he was put up against practice partners. Then he bitched about being matched against someone local, right after he bragged to us for 5 minutes about how he manned up and proved how good he was winning local qualifiers without a sweat. I guess Phil was hoping to face Sidellas until the final round, and then those top guys don't count because they're Japanese.

I have a theory that when he was a child, his parents let him win at cards and Monopoly all the time. Not by playing poorly, but by declaring him the winner even when he lost, so he wouldn't throw a fit. It would explain why he can't handle losing, and often legit doesn't understand why he lost.

That, or he was just born without a conscience and that's why he feels no shame curb-stomping the kids who rode the short bus to school. Or possibly still do.

Phil accuses people of cheating and using macros on his console game too. So his excuse of cheating, just like his excuse of adapting to the ps1 port of super turbo, is hypocritical bullshit said by Phil just because he has to make up something
