my phone's been massively wigging out sporadically when I hit the farms on it, like, freezing, phantom inputs
doesn't seem to correspond to any particular part of the site that I've noticed so far, doesn't seem to happen with other sites, either
it's a cheap shit ZTE
 
I can't seem to upload MP4 files I've saved off Twitter any more. No huge deal, but I used to be able to do this. FWIW, the last one I tried was just over a meg, and was a clip just over a minute long. Runs fine on my PC.

I get that while its uploading for every video, but if i just hit post it fixes itself and the post itself has the video working fine.

Following up about my cheap phone it seems that my cheap rubber and plastic armor case is slightly touching the screen and for whatever reason the farms is very sensitive to whatever spot compared to other sites, and that's why shit blows up
 
I keep getting notifications informing me of new threads being created on a board I am watching, except the threads were actually created 3-4 years ago. The notifications claim that they were posted today.

In Vivaldi all the side panels are squished to the bottom (I thought I had just accidentally zoomed in but it's not that) and if someone embeds a youtube and I try to play it on-site it just tells me an error has occurred and to try later.
 
This has probably been asked before, but why is new thread creation permitted in the Lolcows forum if the proper process is to create a thread in Proving Grounds first and then have it be "graduated" to Lolcows? Wouldn't it make sense to stop the newbies creating new threads there against procedure which then have to be moved by jannies?

It isn't for me. This is a bizarre, dumb misuse of a blocklist that contained the Farms because of nool's use of a cryptominer, that was entirely optional and you could turn on or off at will and even had a slider to pick how much CPU it used. So this was considered malware, even though it was entirely open and optional. So now absolute, utter retards, years later, continue to use this obsolete, outdated list to block the Farms.

This is the main reason you shouldn't trust Proton, even if you use it. They're obviously run by complete idiots.

I've been noticing this for a while, but the "rainbow" animation takes absurdly high CPU to animate one tiny little icon in the rules section. I'm seeing the tab take 30-50% of a CPU core just from sitting there animating it. It's so resource intensive that it causes problems with trying to watch a YouTube live stream at the same time (which also takes absurdly high CPU for some reason, but that's another issue entirely).

Just by adding steps(10) to the animation, the CPU load is much lower - around 10-20% (it transitions between each pair of keyframes in 10 steps, instead of rendering as many frames as it possibly can). I don't really notice any difference visually, either.

We can't sticker comments in Spergatory anymore and that is lame :( , and @JosephStalin trying sending the DM and then refreshing and see if its in your DM list, I thought it was broken for me but its the same issue with stickers where you need to refresh and it will pop up.

Ya, still acting weird, but only when I DM one particular poster. Will take your advice, because I see the DMs went through. Just aggravating to hit send then get "you have to wait X seconds before doing this". Just asked for some help. Guessing problems affects more than me.
 
I've been hearing conflicting information from new users and from Null about whether it's possible to start a DM convo as a new account. I registered a burner to check. Looking at the most recent post in this thread:

And if I use my main to get the hyperlink for the Start Conversation button (like so) then I get the following error when I try to use it:

May want to confirm that there's no probationary period currently set for starting DMs, given that I see posts like this:

Edited to add: After I made this post, I tried to open a DM again and got the same error as before.
 
The Kawaii board theme ought to be pink and not purple. The current purple is too low-contrast & low-saturation and un-kawaii for the name.

Is there a way to choose style when using the stealth mode other than using the style chooser page? I can't see the option to change it. I'm guessing Null already knows this since he's said stealth mode is jank but I'm reporting just it in case (or maybe I'm just autist and can't see the option for some reason.
