Plu and Fawn - plu/plur/plurself

There's something very disorienting about seeing photos that are basically the exact same as the background.

That said, Maybe it's just because I'm a massive skeptic (thanks a lot, tumblr :heart-empty:) but I have a very hard time believing that any of these types of pictures of space aren't hardcore edited. In that case, lol at people trying to live off a "space is pretty" fantasy. Then again I've never really looked into it...

Pretty sure that all space pictures are taken across a larger spectrum of light than is humanly visible and is then converted into colors; see this Cracked article.

Once again PLUTO IS NOT A FUCKING PLANET!
Yeah. Agreed. These pictures don't "prove" anything. someone could get pictures of anyone and paste a planet or deer head on it. What is even the point?

I like how the trigger list says people saying Pluto isn't a planet is a trigger while the faq says "I don't even care." which is it?
Well, I consider the dwarf planets to be planets, albeit not as important as the 8 official planets.

What's the point of knowing when you can :tumblr: F E E L :tumblr:

Also, Pluto is overrated. Makemake is best dwarf planet.
Indeed.

I think she should go there and never be seen or heard from by anyone. Better yet, send her to one of the more irregularly-shaped moons, like Nyx, Styx, Hydra, or Kerberos.

I was thinking more like this:

Did you forget to take your brain medicine?

Decided to leave at least one of @ArmedBlueReploid 's posts so that he can at least rack up some neg rates and you all can get a chuckle. Please contact me ArmedBlueReploid if you'd like me to do damage control for you and remove your remaining post to prevent further rates, much love :heart-full:

In the future, PLEASE make use of the edit button so that I don't have to merge four posts into one again.

I'M SORRY!!:oops::(

This is the break down of the sol system.

Sun - a G Type main sequence star.

Followed by 4 terrestrial Planets.

Mercury, Venus, Earth and Mars. They are defined by being Rocky and having few or no Moon's and no Ring systems.

They are followed by the asteroid belt that may or may not be the remains of a planet that failed to form during the early day's of the Sol system, and are mostly Rocky, that's followed by the outer plants.

Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune. The outer planets are defined as being Gassy, Being really big and possessing Ring systems and large moons and is followed by Kuiper belt.

The Kuiper belt like the Asteroid belt but composed of objects that are mostly ice, and Pluto just happens to be the biggest one (that we know about) but by the definition used to define a planet it isn't one:
1) A object in orbit around the Sun with a diameter greater than 2000km
2) A object who's shape is stable due to it's own mass when orbiting around the Sun.
3) A object in orbit around the Sun that is dominant in it's immediate neighbourhood.

So Pluto doesn't meet the requirements of a Planet it's a Dwarf Planet, because of part 3 of the definition it is not a planet it's mass is about 0.07 of the mass of object's in it's neighbourhood. It might be more interesting than just the first Dwarf Planet though it might be the first Binary Planet owing to the mass of it's Moon, but it's still not or should have ever been classified as a Planet.

There really is a XKCD for everything.
