Community Tard Baby General (includes brain dead kids) - Fundies and their genetic Fuckups; Parents of corpses in denial

You can barely see a five week embryo (not a fetus yet) with the naked eye, it’s the size of a strawberry seed ffs. This lady basically bought a coffin for a period flow.

(Until the advent of at home tests it was incredibly common for women to miscarry before 8 weeks and have no idea they were ever even pregnant. Before 1970 they didn’t even bother to do pregnancy tests until about 12 weeks or 2-3 missed menstrual cycles. Now women test the first day of a missed period, but pee strip is the only reason most women are even aware they are pregnant early on.)
There’s a billboard on my drive to work that says “a baby has a heartbeat at 6 weeks” and then has a picture of a literal toddler on it, for fucks sake. 6 weeks!

can Luna even close her eyes anymore?

Crazy that people seemingly ignore this fact given that dementia and alzheimers is one of the worst diseases you can get other than ALS and Huntington's. This is my job day in and day out and I've seen people go from early stage to needing a facility because their family can no longer care for them.
I used to work with a woman whose father was believed to have Alzheimer's, until she was diagnosed with Huntington's herself. Horrible, horrible disease. She never had children of her own, so that defective gene will die with her, if it hasn't already.

No, midwives don't have total control, and OBs don't either. Had Joey Feek known that her baby had Down's, she would probably have delivered in a hospital - I do agree with that.

My mother advised me to not even tell anyone I was pregnant, besides the father, until 12 weeks, precisely because early miscarriages that are basically heavy periods are so common. It's part superstition, and part pragmatic "no point getting attached to it now."

Every conception cannot be sacred, when you consider how many get flushed out and all mom knows about it is a late period.

Wrong. Every sperm is sacred.

I wish they were showing real images of fetuses of that "age". Wold make some difference, eh?
Also all those toddlers are healthy, which is also trickery.
Yeah the prolife crowd never bothers to put images of actual fetuses or abortions on their propaganda, probably because they don't look like much of anything until pretty late in the game. They want to try to get the emotional reaction by having an actual baby or whatever. Even the shock images they use are almost always stillborns or miscarriages taken out of context, not actual aborted fetuses.

I've been wondering for a while if any prolifer has stolen dead baby pics from some of the kinds of people featured ITT and tried to pass them off as aborted fetuses. Considering most of the types posted here are also prolife fundies, it could make for some interesting drama if that happened.

I looked up the company mentioned by the 6 week miscarriage chick. For 50-350 bux you too can buy a coffin for your heavy period.

They also sell and reccomend jars to put your miscarriage/heavy period in

Playing with and taking pics of a miscarriage/heavy period in a jar is wholesome fun for the whole family!

EDIT: looks like they also sell miscarriage kits. Apparently you're supposed to strain you blood and tissue and piss in a colander until you find the dead embryo/fetus (if you find it).

When I first moved to this city about 22 years ago there was a billboard near the interstate warning about fetal alcohol syndrome. It showed a image of an embryo or barely-a-fetus, and not a drawing either. It looked like it could've been a photo taken with a microscope. At any rate my older adult sister was a bit upset to be informed that it wasn't an alien baby, and considering that it wasn't around long indicates a lot of people found it upsetting and complained that it had gone too far.

Jesus Christ, everything about this is absolutely horrifying.

"Come on, kids, let's all take some family photos with this jar of floating dead fetal tissue ❤️"

One of their customers was REEEEEEing that the evil doctors wouldn't give her a death certificate for an embryo and accurately referred to what she passed as tissue instead of a super special miracle jesus baby or whatever

The fetus never even had a birth certificate. I may be wrong but don't you need to at least be born to have a death certificate too? Either way the part about cradling a month old fetus in a jar is horrifying, especially if you subject it to kids.

If they are trying to 'preserve' the miscarried baby in distilled water, they're doing it wrong. It needs to be pickled immediately with some sort of strong alcohol or formaldehyde or else they will soon end up with a macerating 'soup,' consisting of brownish blobs of stuff floating in a brown broth that absolutely reeks.
The kit listing suggests using saline or contact solution for temporary preservation.

I think you can get some kind of certificate for a stillborn, but that's presumably because something that was at or close to term is massively different than a microscopic embryo.
I've been told by women who had miscarriages to indeed preserve their passed tissue this way, for lab analysis. Honestly, they were traumatized by doing this.
At least it makes sense to do it for lab analysis. Still, straining through piss and blood to try and find a dead embryo/fetus sounds like it would be awful and traumatizing for everyone.

Yeah and keeping it in the fridge when you aren't fucking with it. They said it works for a couple days until burial, but I wonder if any of these fundies just keep their miscarriages in the fringe indefinitely.

This is genuinely sick. I don't see a reason to recommend it unless you want those women in constant state of shock and stress.

Does this technically count as a cumjar?

I totally get that miscarrying can be awful for a woman even if it’s early, but...this seems like it would only make the grief worse? By acting like it’s comparable to a near viability or full term stillbirth.

We’ll they could just get a D&C and the doctor could find the tissue viable for genetic testing if it’s really a concern. If it’s a priority to get genetic testing (and usually that’s only a thing after multiple recurrent miscarriages) then they shouldn’t opt for a “natural miscarriage” at home.

Obviously in some cases it happens and the woman didn’t even know it was an issue but thanks to all the early ultrasounds it’s far more common to know a embryo died well before the body expels it.

Of all the women I’ve known that found out there was no heartbeat during a early ultrasound only one opted to wait for a natural miscarriage- and even she said she’d opt for a D&C if it ever happened again.

Yeah I seriously wonder if any women would do this to cope with their grief or if it would be entirely due to religious shit. The people that run the business seem to be catholic and I know Catholics are weird about fetuses, but I feel like most run of the mill Catholics would find putting a miscarriage through a strainer so they can find the embryo/fetus and put it in a jar (and hopefully bury it) to be bizarre or even grotesque.

I feel like the kinds of people that would do something like this would only be the most holier than thought types that want to show everyone just how saintly they are and just how much they respect the sanctity of life. It feels almost performative, idk.
