Even if they did, Phil is a far cry from Onision in terms of being known of by normies. That matters when it comes to trying to get stuff on TV. Yeah, Chris Hansen got paid to rip into Phil, but do you think he knew who he was talking about? Do you think he remembers today? Probably not.

I'm not an expert on what happened over there, but apparently YouTube got embarrassed that a series leveled the finger at them for enabling his behaviour. So in typical corporate fashion, they delete him and say What Onision?

As soon as I saw an image of that buxom antagonist I knew he'd be triggered and you can be sure when the game comes out in May - after milking the shit out of multiple demos - he'll be full on Pastor Dave Banall denouncing Capcom's decision to incorporate vampiric slutbags who spout tried and true sexual innuendo (they really need a man just like you Phil) into their game because this guy, don't you know, has a scullery maid part-time carer actual rent free future detraator wife living with him.

The japs will never fully abandon these types of designs, Just another reason to hate the asians dood. I've been fearing they might actually use RE Engine for the next Street Fighter but these designs lessen my concerns about how the characters visuals could turn out. I mean I'd prefer an Arc System aesthetic for the series but I just don't think we'll ever see 2D from them ever again.

Phil cut the YT recording and thanked his audience for the tips. The fact that he went a little over the goal tonight ($119) 'helped to alleviate' the fact that he had a slow earlier stream and was 'just over 50% of the goal'.
Alright, so the tips goals are mandatory then. That's what this language says. If the goals are not met, Phil is clearly establishing that it is a problem, and he really needs $200 daily for some undisclosed reason. You cannot say this and simultaneously say the tips aren't mandatory. He also had a hype train tonight, so he pulled quite a bit for the next Twitch paycheck as it is. But the urgency of the tips is even more suspicious than usual.

This is one of the first times he has gone in this hard on saying that he wants the late stream to go over the tips goal to compensate for the day stream falling short. Usually, he just begs to the goal. I suspect he overspent/is overspending on Champions because he was banking on hitting more tips goals and is now realizing he is at risk of not affording his taxes. This is the first year he hasn't had a massive fundraiser for his taxes, and has not had comfortable access to a credit card. I think he has royally fucked his monthly budget and is in a bad spot again with very limited options for a bail out.

He also welcomed back OiC again at the end for no specific reason. Just said it unprompted. Nice little bit of whale dick riding there. It's actually more than OiC got after he gave Phil a fortune in subs because they weren't tips, but I guess Phil wants to line up that fat Twitch paycheck anyway.

Like I said, Phil just doesn't warrant that because he's too much of a pussy to get himself any more than a two star wanted rating. I agree that Twitch should be ashamed of itself for enabling his behavior, but good luck mounting enough pressure on those assholes to appropriately deal with the World's Worst Gamer, since that's how Phil is most largely seen. Not the scumbag he truly is.

It did, but Surly Muppet is probably right about his poor budgeting skills recently fucking him over more than usual. I also personally believe that his parents have cut him off, making him worry about money more than he typically does. Which is to say that he's getting a taste of what a real adult's life is like, because he never has before if his parents have really been covering his ass long after he finally moved out of their house.

EDIT: Also, I like that OiC not only made a big deal of his "return", confirming that he has indeed been hiding under aliases and now is officially back instead of pretending to be gone, but was also stupid enough to confirm the most likely means by which Phil communicates with him and whoever else he sends his whale calls out to. Which wouldn't be (much) of a problem if he just admitted it from the start. Why does he play that game? Because that's what he does. Some people waste thousands to go on a holiday each year only to return 2 weeks later and still have a shit life. Others waste just as much on petrol driving their car around at night playing crap music because they're too embarrassed to play it at their house. Some streamers spank $500+ bottles of whisky on stream, straight faced, as though it's normal.

...not entirely true. It's takes money and talent, connections, motivation, luck or hard work to make money. He's gotten by on luck but, unlike the others, that doesn't last forever.
