Has dsp mentioned any tax bills due this year? I'm assuming he didn't budget for it yet again?

I think it's cropped up a few times but nothing as compared to last year, currently he's just begging for the usual 'bills and groceries' but we all know Phil will be back to square one in the next couple of years with his childish spending habits.

Therefore, he is desperate to be relevant in any manner or form to stop being defined as the guy who jacked off on stream. It’s a past he’ll never be able to escape no matter how much he tries to paint himself as a different person. Ultimately, Phil needs to be in control of the narrative at all times and the one event that has defined him is the only one he cannot spin, deny, or retcon because everyone saw what happened and how embarrassing it was.
Not for lack of trying, mind you. Phil’s perception of the Incident has seen quite the evolution as he’s done absolutely all he can to mitigate it.
From:
-It didn’t happen! *Bans everyone who mentions it*
-Oh shit, even normal people outside the Autism Vortex are talking about it. My usual North Korea moderation isn’t working
-Yup it’s me, the Silly Masturbation Guy!
-Uh no, there were absolutely no children watching a video game stream!
-Sure it happened, but I’ve learned and grown from it since then, dude!
-You can’t even tell what’s happening! I didn’t even mess up that bad! It only blew up because detractors!
-*Bans everyone who mentions it*

Didn't DSP say he didn't have Turbo enabled?
What the fuck was with that Fei Long kick spam? Am I missing something?
I turned up the audio in the raw video and you can faintly hear him tapping when spamming the Fei Long kicks, but I didn't hear anything in the next match when he was spamming jabs with Zangief.

That Ryu vs. Vega match is hilarious. 1st round Phil is 1 jab away from winning and still loses, then he gets pissed and plays super serious in round 2 and loses even more decisively. He then goes on a rant about how the Ryu was playing way too aggressive (even though he was super aggressive with Vega) and calls the guy a scrub because none of it would work offline and he doesn't play like Alex Valle. Lmaooo

It kills me when he says shit wouldn't work offline. He hasn't played an offline match in 6-7 years but believes he's unbeatable. The guy that is a totally different person from the jerkoff stream is the same competitive player from 10 years ago... Not to mention he's still miserable and has $200 in contributions lmaooo

I can't remember which stick he's using but it could be one with silent buttons.
We should stop harping on the idea of him using a turbo button because it's pretty dumb tbh.
It is easy to spam shorts and jabs in ST even on a normal PS4 pad so there is no point in using a turbo button. Especially for someone who used to play in arcades.

I was wondering when Phil would bring up Kat getting harassed at work for more pity bucks.
Do you guys think Kat gets detractors who chat with her when she’s at work? The obvious answer is no because Phil hasn’t brought it up. But it’s possible, I bet at least a few times people have gone who know who she’s married to and see her even if they don’t make any contact at all.
Guarantee it has nothing to do with 'detractors' and everything to do with the degeneracy of the pacific northwest. I can just imagine how many troons she has to deal with on the daily.
See a few days ago Phil made (another) tweet about the incident joking about Trump giving him a pardon for jacking it on stream so it was inevitable Phil would contradict this in every way and get triggered over something he literally made a joke about a few days prior.

It's like he has a different personality depending on which website he is using. Twitter Phil can make a joke, literally only one joke, about being caught masturbating while Twitch Phil never wants anyone to bring it up ever again. Youtube Phil is kept in a cage and only let out if Twitch Phil can't show up and nobody noticed Patreon Phil's been dead for awhile.
I have no doubt he thought if he posted that, it meant no one could bring it up anymore.
Idk if I’m ever gonna let him shitting on that Ryu go. Anyone who’s put any time into a fighting game could tell the guy was just really good and knew what he was doing.

he knew that jump with Ryu could beat out Vegas move in the air, and he knew he could hit with another after the first. I mean for fucks sake he knew the timing for his super on wake up to make sure DSP had to block it and get chipped out. He clearly knew wtf he was doing, he even had SRK in his name, he’s probably played more high level SF2 than DSP in the last 10 years.

shame on the piggy and his ego.

soemthing that really stuck out to me from Friday’s gameplay though is DSP has a very autistic mindset to fighting games.

he puts a massive emphasis on match ups, and he talks like everyone is playing at high level and are machines that do everything correct.

like he blamed some of his losses on really bad match ups...but the thing is scrubs don’t capitalize on bad match ups, the way he talks he makes it sound like you could hand a 8 year old a controller and they could win because of match ups which obviously isn’t the case

he randomly commented on a match he was watching and said “see right there sagat should’ve been able to uppercut guiles move but the guy couldn’t because of online” like he assumed the guy knew he could uppercut that move, and he assumed the guy couldn’t because of lag. He just assumes for some strange reason that this random guy online would’ve played perfectly without online lag which isn’t ever the case in fighting games, even pros drop combos or fail to react.

it’s just so weird
He desperately needs the 'online lag' myth to be true.

Last night's sf stream was a true classic, the last 30 or so minutes of it. Hope we will get some good detractor videos to document it.

It baffles me that phil acts like he is entitled to win every match just because his claims to have good knowledge. Guess what, that's not how fighting games work. It's about execution as much as knowledge.

Other thing, Phil has been out of the fgc for more than 10 years so he hasn't been keeping in touch with new strategies being developed. So when Phil says a player (who beat him in a match) doesn't play like one of the oldheads he knows, that's because that player found a better strategy (hence why he beat Phil).

I think Phil knows he would get demolished if he went back to offline matches against mainstream fgc players, especially not adapting to newer styles of play. So he'll stay in this fringe ps4 port and complain about lag instead of going to fightcade where the real good players are.

There was a fascinating rant this morning. A lot of gibberish, so to distill to the core points...
- Phil is upset that the devs that made the Tony Hawk reboots were liquidated and absorbed by Activision/Blizzard
- Phil demanded to know what they had even done as a dev recently
- Overwatch, Phil said, and, very sarcastically, more World of Warcraft
- Phil ranted that they were coasting, turning out the same content for years, and coasting on a subscription model and microtransactions
- He said they were a terrible business that used microtransactions to prey on their customers who get addicted and can't stop
- Phil was angry that this business model exists and that people could keep giving a company like this money for exploiting them

Even if he is correct about Activision/Blizzard, don't construe that as being justified, because the idiot talking both uses and is an extreme whale for exactly these same practices.

Which brings us to the real noodle scratcher: is this Phil projecting, as he sits under a 912 sub count and rewardless Patreon for content that hasn't changed or improved in years, or, is he actually projecting his own anger at Scopely for preying on his severe addiction.
It's a real train wreck when it isn't clear which is the case.
Phil blaming the companies for his mobile gaming addiction is absolutely on brand.

"Sorry guys there was just nothing I could do! I was addicted to pulls, $200 and even $300 every night just GONE. It's not my fault I did everything correct"

In his salt-filled rant after being beaten by Ryu, Phil raved that he has the knowledge to "win these matchups 100% of the time." This is an absolutely ridiculous claim, as anyone who has played anything at a competitive level should know. It simply is not possible to win at such an insane % even in a very favorable matchup, assuming you play more than 1 or 2 matches ever. Just another thing to show that Phil genuinely thinks he is one of the best in the world and should win every single game he plays.

Additionally, this sheds more light on the theory of Phil being addicted to gacha games, not just Champions imo. Just watch him complaining this much about losing to better players, getting unreasonably pissed, and tell me this isn't a guy who has become used to (and emotionally dependent on) paying to win 99% of the matches he "plays."

So he's finally going to start the millenium tower tonight or is he still doing the business minigame?

Christ 80+ hours...in the time it's taken him to beat Y7 i've beaten Y0, Kiwami, Kiwami 2, Y7 and almost beaten Y6.
Either yesterday or two days ago he said that he still has "side khantent" to do, namely upgrade Romance Workshop to level 4 so he can craft and upgrade his equipment to the highest level. Now this could mean two things:
a) He upgrades Romance Workshop, gets his gear upgraded to whatever he can at that moment, and right after does the final showdown at Millennium Tower and beats the game
b) Stalls yet again by upgrading Romance Workshop, getting his gear upgraded to whatever he can at that moment, saying "I dunno guys I think I'll still need more khrefting materials to upgrade my weapons further... it's gonna be pretty tough in the endgame NUHUHU". Goes to the Battle Arena in Sotenbori to farm the rare golden bugs and ores for 3 hours just so he can upgrade his weapons to the highest levels. The ending of the accursed Yakuza 7 playthrough happens on the next stream because of that... maybe... hopefully.

EDIT: He just said that he most likely won't be finishing the game today. It ended up being option b) just like I expected.

And then in either case he spends 45 minutes whittling down the end boss' health only for his healer to get confused and undo all of his """hard work""" leading to merely the latest in a long line of ragequits.

Woo boy did I miss some premium salt; I haven't seen that kind of quality gold dust since his playthrough of I want to say either NFS: payback or hot pursuit. But anyway his talk of he should win every SF match because reasons speaks of a delusion that Phil really thinks he is the greatest SFST player in the world. This is the same idiot who every Friday plays ST and plays his usual characters the same way again and again and wonders how he gets beat every time. Phil is the very same idiot that put over two decades into SFST and doesn't know anything about anything plus can't give any insight about character history, strategies for said characters, the history of SF or anything of interest.

What we get instead is the usual mocking of the other player, goat laugh, followed by the ego stroking. But when he loses we get the only thing entertaining about Phil: the preloaded excuses, a good salty rant and complaints about lag, moves dropping and online combos.

That kinda plays into what I said earlier, I forgot to comment on him saying he could “win the matchup 100%” he legit sounds so autistic, like fighting games are putting numbers into a computer...like players can’t mess up...like he doesn’t mess up....

(Un)fortunately the final boss only has one bullshit move and that's a One Hit KO move, we may get a lot of salt if he decides to target Ichi with it because if Ichi gets KO'd it's done.
And yeah I know there's a boss fight right after him but it's like the False and True King Allant deal in Demon's Souls where the latter boss is basically a pushover you can't lose against unless you deliberately skip all your turns.
