The tree just means being an environmentalist, but in these parts of twitter it does usually also imply some support for deep ecology or ecofascism. From what I've seen of them they tend to quote people like Evola, Linkola, Bowden, and Vikernes in addition to Kaczynski, so this could be another example of Nick interacting with a "cringe wignat pagan", not that that's really surprising at this point.

edit : I remember just yesterday I read or heard that some other countries' leaders and political elites got very pissed and worried about social media's banning of Trump, and they've let Silicon Valley know it, maybe that had some bearing on Dlive's decision

I think they may have just realized they committed suicide by doing that dumb shit. Literally the only thing these shitty "alternative" platforms have going for them is they will host content that YouTube won't because if you could host it on YouTube, as shitty as it is, you would.

Honestly not the best move right now. Nick's site has been having perennial issues (should have streamed in 480p or just audio, you retard) and he's basically been thrown a lifeline. His hubris really may cause his downfall, when it doesn't have to. Fuentes, thy name is Ozymandias.
