So the grapevine of /v/ told me that voice actors, artists, and writers are wanting their assets pulled from the mod and staff is quitting in droves. This all took place in the span of a day after a mod that took 7 years to develop came out. How do you fuck up this hard? Not only is this mod getting shat on, it's getting stripped bare of its assets because they don't want to be associated with it anymore.

I have the 0.4.5 one, i'm guessing they were at least smart enough to include previous changes in later patch files because the mod page only showed the latest one.

Fucking beautiful, it like rats fleeing a sinking ship that's on a collision course with an iceberg.

I guess that means Hunt Down the Freeman's no longer the de facto cautionary tale for mods.

If they didn't have that shitty stream and ban people on discord over it, this mod would of most likely went the way New California laughed at and forgotten. But they had to run their fucking mouths about politics in a already highly politicized climate and this what they get. It took 7 years to make this mod and it only took 1 1/2 weeks to destroy it completely.

I actually kinda feel bad for the devs now. Imagine having 7 years of hard work completely ruined by degenerate autists who couldn't keep their fetishes in check and decided it was a good idea to allow your pedo MLP art profile to be in any way associated with a major project you're working on.

They really needed more oversight on this trainwreck.

It is their fault though. I've worked on a few large scale IT projects and everyone right down to the interns that get the coffee get Googled and investigated to make sure they're not weirdos who could fuck the project. /v/ found this guy's kiddie porn stash in like 15 seconds, you're telling me they worked with this guy for seven years and didn't know? Also apparently the America sex slave stuff and stinky feet wasn't written by the Skunk furry so it's clear they had multiple lapses in judgement when it comes to staff.

Yeah, seeing the degenerate shit OC's and general bad design is kinda funny but ultimately i don't find it entertaining. Just another thing that could have been good but isn't.
I don't understand people cheering for this kinda stuff.

Seven years of work reduced to cinders in what? A week? Yeah, a lot of content was made by degenerates, but man, having your work (referring to the less degen devs) you spent years creating be torn to shreds in a week is pretty fucking harsh regardless.

I do believe that Tyler McVicker stream was the final nail in the coffin, for some reason he autistically answered every superchat asking about condoms underneath bane's bed and stuff about sneed, which was absolutely hilarious and caused a shitstorm on the Frontier discord. Had the lead dev not been on that stream, I believe the mod could have recovered.
