The US fucked around in Latin America early on under the Monroe Doctrine, but far more around the turn of the century. It's when we started getting real hard into imperialism, if we ignore the Indian wars. We helped Panama secede from Columbia so we could get access to the canal.

It was where female (some with penises) gamers were rounded up, herded into cattle cars, and taken to Internet concentration camps where they were harassed nonstop. The only way you can help them get over the trauma of this literal shoah is to give them money.

I feel like the hedge funds will just spread their activities out more strategically next time so it'll be harder to tell where to attack them from. They'll make slightly less money, but it will hardly stop them in the long run.

Even with this massive hole they were still able to control the systems and sites people use to trade to reduce the damage, and they were completely blindsided. They won't be punished for that and we all know it.
