Cyberpunk 2077 Grieving Thread

The first thing they should do is make the characters actually attractive. 95% of npcs are obese in day glo boots shorts or a Tumblr nightmare.
This weirdly reminds me of Quarantine:
The question is whether it's better than Cyberpunk in both being cyberpunk-ish and having better vehicle control.

Someone on loverslab said there's no actual way to unpack assets so these tools are basically worthless.
Seriously? FUCKING LOL.

Looking at the tools:

1) A utility for listing contents of game data archives
2) A utility for listing contents of game Tweak DB (game settings) binaries
3) A list of IDs of Tweak DB entries. Generated using TweakDump and tweakdb.str metadata
4) Metadata shit

HOLY SHIT LOL

All this does is list the contents of game archives
List the IDs of Game Settings you can tweak
And allows you to tweak game settings.

These are NOT fucking modding tools. I don't even see how you can even fix bugs with this unless they're related to settings. There's no asset creator or inserter. In fact, nothing about their tools to seem to alter assets.

People are actually just upgrading the Witcher 3 mod tools to use those meanwhile. This is fucking hysterical if they think this is even remotely mod support. I guarantee you that after seeing this people are going to pour over converting the custom Witcher 3 mod tools for Cyberpunk, because its clear these retarded poles aren't going to do mod support anytime soon.

Since when has that stopped those horny fucks?

But LOL that this is the CDRP of modding tools.
I know people laugh at Loverslab but a lot of the best and varied body meshses for games come out of there.

So they are going old bethesda on us?

Now I am getting intrested in the game again, must just wait to see if people CAN fix stuff, or if too much is hard coded in to the game.
Oh, absolutely not. Bethesda's creation tools are actually pretty decent. They allow you to create and insert assets, play with quest flags, do all sorts of shit. They basically streamline the process as well, so all modders are using one format instead of it being all over the place. Their mod tools and files are designed to be compatible with other mod tools and files. Basically they honestly release a glorified devkit for their games, which is why they've been just using gamebryo for 10+ years, because they don't have to play around with making new mod tools and modders can easily jump from one game to the next.

The thing CD Projekt released was basically a more intense list of game settings to alter. It can't unpack assets, so assets can't be edited easily and it doesn't look like any of the tools allow you to easily add your own assets either.

This is a fucking joke.

More than 3 unique NPCs will melt your CPU.

There's a rumor going around that Konami was planning on releasing Snatcher in a form of a compilation with the different ported versions all collected, to try and capitalize on the popularity of Cyberpunk, but after the game failed they nuked the idea.

This has been done before with other games, Lion King and Aladdin collections had every major version of both games put on a disc.

I'm surprised Nintendo hasn't gone after Mihoyo. Tbh it doesn't bother me in the slightest that its similar to Zelda but you just know Nintendo's legal team would nitpick since they're out for blood.
It's a gacha game. You don't need to sue - just wait until it eventually gets greedy or people naturally lose interest. And that's ignoring that a gacha adventure with a party of anime girls is actually significantly different from botw, and it takes more than similar aesthetic to make a case.

And as for ninten ninjas going after similar games, that no one went after Temtem is a sign they know when to hold it when all they need is patience.

The thing is nobody is going to make major mods until they at least get major patches. Or they're basically relying on modders and are going to basically jack their fixes to the game to update it. I wouldn't fucking touch modding and let them burn.

the thing is who is even interested to do it when if it gets properly patched?
let's assume it gets the same tools skyrim does (never ever), then what? new quests you'd need to voice and design that don't really do anything? some simple model exchanges for a story you at the absolute best only ever play twice? new guns and gimmicks that would made the game even more of a laughing stock? and again you don't need when you don't want to start over?

even in the very best case, as I said before I don't see mods saving cp2077, because at the very least it requires vested interest to do so. how many people are out there that like the game so much they play it over and over, and are also modders that can deliver the quality CDPR put out (because they had to go hard with faux realism)? not even witcher 3 had it, and that was much better received.

These are NOT fucking modding tools.

exactly, they're modding support tools. ☺️

Apperantly the first big patch added a bunch more glitches then it fixed honestly I don't think it matters how much they patch the game it will still be broken as shit.

Yea I heard they broke the main quest. Tetsuo or whatever the Japanese guy's name is now has no dialogue in the diner so the quest can't progress because he never talks to you.

I just love how redditors are like, "stop preordering games, vote with your wallet!!!!!!" and then get tricked by a game like cyberpunk, preorder it, are shocked when it's a pile of shit, and are like, "I'm so angry I preordered this game what a waste!!!.

Consoomers gonna consoom.

Btw, buy skyrim

Right now I'd bet $100 the planned DLC expansions are cancelled. There's no audience and they kinda shot themselves in the foot anyways since like 4/5 endings end with V either being dead or a mind broken slave so postgame DLC doesn't even make sense.

none of the expansions in Witcher 3 were post ending, so there would be no reason to assume that the ones in cyberpunk 2077 would be either.

that being said, i agree. nobody gives a shit about cyberpunk 2077 enough to buy dlc at this point.
