She had a cameo in Get Him To The Greek and was a semi-regular actress for smaller roles on SyFy original movies and The Asylum's mockbusters, but she also does a lot of voice acting and has been in a lot of commercials and promos. You know the Disney Channel's promos back in the 2000's? That was her.

She's also been in a few bit roles for anime (usually the dubs from the later days of Geneon or the rare Media Blasters dub) as well as lower-budget cartoons and video games and she usually is credited under the names Jennifer Loma, Jin Li, or Jennifer Lee (the last one she's also used for some of the early softcore titles she did for Showtime)

Apparently, Christine Nguyen is a good example of a softcore porn star who breaks into the mainstream.

She's not mainstream in the same way as one of the A-Lister or even B-Lister stars, but she's in the mainstream as a C-Lister who's always getting work because she's good and reliable at what she does (modeling, bit roles, and voice-overs)

That was the thing about the old softcore Skinemax stuff, it was kind of like the indie wrestling leagues. The kind of people who worked them were either hardcore porn stats whose careers were fading or had already faded or younger talent that could get their foot in the door to either move up to hardcore porn or alternately avoid the hardcore market and get low-profile but also reliably steady work in horror movies, B-movies, or bit roles.

The lady that played one of the aunts on Sabrina the Teenage Witch played the lead in a hardcore porno early in her career. I think that movie is more of a Caligula type of thing where actors and porn stars were separated though.

Only thing mildly interesting that I remember is he used to do a porn series called "In the VIP", which was famous for 2 things. 1) It was where a lot of famous porn actresses started off as unnamed extras who might just flash their tits, Riley Reid being probably the most famous example, and 2) this was the porn series that always had Kimbo Slice act as the doorman. The stretch limo would pull up, J Mac would step out, shoulder bump Kimbo, then he would escort the 20 or so women out of the limo, and that was it.

He was around in the late 90's early 2000's right? I remember something about that guy and this is old as shit so it might not be correct: despite how vile and degrading he was he could easily be bullied by female porn stars making sexual advances towards him. Hand on crotch and he would run away! He was supposedly a virgin and that would make him Incel Jesus today.

I remember Kimbo was boys with the founder of BangBros from beige frequency documentary on him. Kimbo and BangBros founder (Mike Imber) went to high school together and Kimbo used to protect him from bullies and bullshit. His nonpornographic work with BangBros was offered to him because he homeless and working as bouncer at the time when his old buddy from high school offered him better paying work to get him on his feet.

More importantly Mike is responsible for Kimbo's backyard/hood fight videos. Giving Kimbo production money along with marketing and selling the videos. That turned Kimbo Slice into a household name. More importantly increasing MMA's popularity by its association with Kimbo Slice after he was main eventer for EliteXC (MMA) which was on Showtime back in the day and more importantly competing on the UFC's ultimate fighter. I dont really follow hard bodies in porn but I've noted Janet Mason while browsing sites as she hits my milf and redhead ticks as well.

from what I remember (second hand, of course), he was just the narrator, he didn't participate. it was merely the framework for all the stories or something.
anyone remember eden? same thing basically which had even more minor celebrities (including a german one for some reasons who would later star in serious roles - but then it was a dude, so it's not like you'd see more than usual anyway).
otoh you also had actresses like barbara elyn woods who would go topless but would still act in all kinds of stuff, seems people were way more chill about it back then.
