It is always kinda funny when some troon wins a women's race (in whatever sport and usually by a huge margin) and they ask the women on 2nd and 3rd place how they feel about it.

The problem is activists have made it so that the standard for dealing with people that claim they're trans is to "affirm" their identity. They're taught that anything less than affirming their identity and starting their transition will lead them to 41%. That's what I learned from the book posted below anyway.

Its weird that "Affirming" their identity (aka giving in to their mental illness/delusion) has no effect on their suicide rate, yet its "Effective".
If you try to point out it doesn't work you are a transphobe even if your whole point is "I don't want them killing them selves". And yet any other mental illness treatment is to get you back in to reality.

It's a bandaid and some topical painkillers over a festering wound. Yeah, it looks better and it feels better for a while, but it changes nothing in the long run. nah, Jim was a decent critic. One of the only people to call out big companies and stand up for the consumer instead of just getting paid off with early access like all the other YouTubers. Given that Jim has been fat for all of his adult life, and deathfat for most of it, I suspect that he will be officially infinifat by 2025, if not before. And when that happens, he either admits he has an addiction and does something about it with professional assistance or he has a heart attack or aneurysm and it's all ogre.

He's going to suffer from a stroke, lose some significant capability to perform the show due to it, and blame the entire thing on the American healthcare system instead of his own shitty life choices, and ride that cripple train into obscurity.

I think it's moreso the fact that going through the whole list of medical surgeries to troon out, and knowing that you'll be getting online asspats and validation for both it and all your neuroses automatically (because anyone that doesn't do so is an -ist and a phobe and a bigot), is just a lot easier than regularly attending long-term psychotherapy IRL to self-critically deal with whatever mental disorder you have and stick with doing that consistently for years.

Why better yourself, when you can troon yourself and know beyond a shadow of a doubt that you'll have other mentally ill people validate you for your 'stunning and brave' choice? And then there's the quacks like the above poster notes that yea - will validate them IRL too, without even considering alternative causes, like the fact that a mental disorder that causes severe identity issues might, JUST MIGHT, be contributing a lot more to a person's dysphoria rather than them needing trans surgery and hormones.

But eh...America has always been the country where people prefer to take pills, thinking that's any kind of substitute for hard work on your own mental health, so it really seems inevitable this would hit it harder than most other countries.
