DSP's on tiktok too?The sad thing is that he isn't the most disgusting person on TikTok.
Because all his trans characters are self-inserts, and he wants to be a lolsorandom manic pixie dream girl. As opposed to a big, fat, clumsy adult male. Why does Sophie have to add all these weird quirks to the trans characters? Goes back to a previous point I made in a different post but isn’t the point to make trans people seem just like normal people? By making every trans character an eccentric it goes against the ideals of the movement.
My poutine is weak but it seems like labelle knows dictionary French only. The grammar and spelling are usually okay but the wording seems soulless and stilted.I love it when the woke eat their own.
Je peux parler poutine.
”Gasp !” is not an exclamation in French. Also, ”tu me dis si t'en veux” just sounds really unnatural to me - I'd say something like ”dis-moi si tu le veux”.
To be fair, he sounds soulless and stilted in English as well.My poutine is weak but it seems like labelle knows dictionary French only. The grammar and spelling are usually okay but the wording seems soulless and stilted.
Assigned Male is basically his Sonichu.Because all his trans characters are self-inserts, and he wants to be a lolsorandom manic pixie dream girl. As opposed to a big, fat, clumsy adult male.
That's how it seems to me. I don't speak fluent poutine by any means but there's a massive difference between what I've seen people say and how Labelle writes. My poutine is weak but it seems like labelle knows dictionary French only. I wouldn’t be surprised if Labelle tried it with some poutine, either he gets in with it or he gets to make a big fuss over how he got harassed because he’s a dainty little trans girl and totally no other reason.Jake is Sped confirmed, ticket person figured he would tard rage if they didn't let him in with his snacks and wrangler.
Quebec residents speak a weird kind French dialect unique to them which probally makes speaking true French more difficult since he’d get confused with correct terms if you’re used to saying certain things,Assigned Male is basically his Sonichu.

It's odd because you'd expect someone called Guillaume Labelle to speak decent French.
I assumed, based on his name, his accent that the fact that he claimed the AM characters were all French speakers, that French was his first language. Weird. That's how it seems to me. It's a self-insert. It's a way to say "LMAO I'm so quirky and random".Why does Sophie have to add all these weird quirks to the trans characters?

Maybe so, but Quebec French doesn't sound like Labelle writes.Quebec residents speak a weird kind French dialect unique to them which probally makes speaking true French more difficult since he’d get confused with correct terms if you’re used to saying certain things,
Same. Of course, autism does cause problems with speech and language.I assumed, based on his name, his accent that the fact that he claimed the AM characters were all French speakers, that French was his first language. Weird.
As someone from Québec who studies literature, I think it comes down to reading - both French books and Québécois books. Reading allows you to understang how ideas are formulated, how to construct a scenario using narrative tension, how characters relate and interact with eachother...I think Labellend just has no writing voice. He's trying so hard to write for mass market/children that he adopts this weird formal French. That, or he's so bad at grammar and conjugation he doesn't even try to write colloquially.
I'd assume that's because you have Loi 101, the OQLF and the CSLF whereas France never protected its language in that way and so used a lot more Anglicisms. We often make fun of the way they use "parking", "shopping", "ticket", "email", "weekend", "cupcake", "pancake", "best-seller", etc. Not that we don't borrow from English, but we are incentivized to use an already existing French word, or to create a neologism if needed. So yes, Québec French sounds weird at first, but it's not that peculiar.
Times are tough. It was either this or OnlyFans. Do you really want this thing to do live action tranny porn?I wonder what made Labelle want to draw adult stuff?
It seems like a horrible idea for a so called children’s cartoonist and author, maybe parents and teachers will finally ask themselves if it’s a good idea to have Sophie around kids.
This made so little sense that I genuinely thought it was an edit at first.
I take it all back, when you put it like that was a great decision!Times are tough. It was either this or OnlyFans. Do you really want this thing to do live action tranny porn?
