These people take the phrase “from each according to his ability, to each according to his need” and they think “well OBVIOUSLY I would not be expected to labour by hand because I’m fragile and have c-ptsd and a bad back and fibro and such....also obviously I would be given just as many resources as others who work hard because I need them.” Amazingly enough, no communist society is going to determine that you NEED “Starbies” and delivery tacos. Get your food from food rations like everyone else.
They don’t realize that in a communist culture, you don’t get to have a doctor’s note that says you’re excused from working. Do you have two hands? Do you have both legs? You can pick vegetables all day. Oh, you have fibro? Nothing a little hard work won’t cure. No, we don’t need “content creators” for the good of all, we need labourers. So get off your arse and work, or you get no food.
Judy and ilk think that a perfect anti-capitalist utopia involves fat dangerhairs sitting about “creating content” on twitch and social media all day, while everyone else does that whole “necessary hard work” thing, paving and maintaining roads, harvesting and distributing food, maintaining infrastructure, making textiles, running machines at factories and working on assembly lines, running daycares, etc.
For all their talk about how unfair and unbalanced capitalism is, they always imagine themselves as the privileged artisan class with lots of leisure time, and some faceless drones are born to do the actual hard work.
