These people are literally just science experiments. Doctors aren't questioning how ethical it is to pump people full of hormones and give them cosmetic surgeries that don't actually resemble they bodies they want. Too bad any doctor who recommends therapy to actually help the person, instead of just complying with the wishes of an obviously insane person, will get cancelled.
I've said it before on a different thread, but it bears repeating. Mark my words: In another 10-15 years expect to see certain TEDTalks:
* Doctor says "I too, disagreed with the troon agenda, and the medical board revoked my license!"
* Doctor says "I was blackballed against the entire University medical system for suggesting therapy instead of surgery!"
* Endocrinologist with similar complaints.
* Nurses and Nurse Practitioners with similar complaints.
* Catholic campuses here in the US being smeared and going cross country to speak out.
* Fathers going cross country to speak out
* Detransitioners holding TedTalks to packed houses about how they were deplatformed and their lives ruined.
And the TV will play annoying commercials: "Have YOU taken Lupron/spiro/HRT? then YOU MAY be entitled to a huge cash settlement!" "Were YOU a patient of Michael Bowers or whatever the hell HIS name is? Then call the law offices of Dick, Wedge, and Cheese. You MAY BE entitled to a cash settlement!"
Watch. It is coming. Except for the detransitioners (like the folks from "I want my sex back") I have zero sympathy. My back is turned.
