The mod is about how fascism is doomed to fail and shit, they pull many things out of their ass like Germany wanting to colonize Africa and the Gibaltar Dam even if it's not needed and they could just say Generalplan Ost and the exagerated Luftwaffe bombings are the reason why Germany sucks.
The best event in TNO is when two farmers named Chuck and Sneed complain about Wallace giving gibs to Illinois or something (Yes, this is a actual event)

Anyone know the status of BTWHmod? The entire thing sounds like something ADF would love, but I'm surprised there aren't that much drama or anything much to see about it. All I can remember from that mod was that, Charles Manson appears as an American warlord and nothing much else.

Just two to my knowledge. One made by 4chan's /vst/ and one by other devs who are headed by Kronosbach.
Bach's team is willing to compromise with the main team so that they're allowed back on the reddit and the discord. (They were kicked off a few weeks ago after one of the TNO affiliated moderators on the server "leaked" transphobic comments made by members of the moderating team and also claimed there was doxxing against pacifica. The latter later turned out to be false, but was followed by the unrelated Kiwi-thread doxxing a week or so later. Basically the Redux-drama was a little prelude to the actual doxxing.)
They're more focused on adding smaller, interesting paths to the game for countries currently lacking content.

4chanRX is unwilling to compromise with the troons.
They want to redo much of TNO, including the lore and the map.

4chan redux wants nothing less than the death of TNO.

But BTWH is definitely worth keeping an eye on for potential spergery.

I heard the thing that makes BTWH an even bigger anarkiddie wank is that there's not even going to be that much right-wing paths. The most right wing you can go (iirc) is just conservatives and segregationists. The idea of a 1960s American Civil War sounds fun, but they explicitly stated that there's going to be no Rockwell, not even Yockey or anything which is boring and doesn't make any sense. Not even a KKK path, I think. Oh, but there's going to be like ten thousand leftist paths and Bernie, I guess.

Apparently, Charles Manson will be the Fascist path but that's kind've lame and doesn't make so much sense for him in my opinion.

Oh and I think Jim Jones will be Fascist too in the mod, but I forgot.

It seems that real wehraboos and real Russians bickering at each other in a chat is a similar, but better game than NPCs doing the same thing in Hearts of Iron IV.

It also strikes me as sad that the person in the vortex of this shit-nado says he wants to write lore for games, but has no idea how to go about doing so. I don't know how you can go about learning how to write (non)fiction by programming video games or pressing other people to program video games so you can take credit for what they've done. You learn to write by reading philosophy, literary criticism, Shakespeare, Milton, Dante... that sort of thing.

I'm also struggling to figure out how an IT guy in the army got permanent injuries from guns and/or flash bangs. Did Osama's boys stage a brazen assault on the server trailer with a .50 cal paintball gun stuck on a Toyota truck?

A little thing I felt like sharing. This happened a few months ago but I still find it hilarious.

Top's context is that way back when, during TNO's infancy, their server had an ask-a-dev channel that was promptly spammed with the most retarded and braindead shit that drove even the troonlets in the TNO team insane. Minecraft Steve's question over here was the straw that broke the camel's back, and also contributed to the TNO team's passive aggressive disdain for their own community. Panzer's spergout has also become a running meme.

I don't know the complete context for the bottom, but Prox is the lead dev for TWR, and also had a similar spergout. Apparently this tardlet called Ebolaman (also an infamous troll in the TNO community) kept spamming inane shit like Obama Monarchy in the TWR server's politics channel.

HoI4 mod lead devs somehow have this weird trend of completely losing their absolute shit when dealing with the HoI4 community and often their own teams. To be fair, I can see why.

The mod does show some signs of legitimate development (actually modelling the US Senate in HOI4 is a first), but is also deeply flawed with nonsense like Germany draining the Mediterranean and automatically exploding into a compulsory fully conventional civil war when Hitler dies (apparently the army divisions just know to line up down arbitrary borders in the middle of Germany when law and order breaks down?). The looney troons and communists turned it from a flawed mod to a failed one.

The Gibraltar Dam being a thing at all was one of the early tonal annoyances for me because it's silly Wolfenstein-tier shit justified by 'lol Nazis' while the mod is trying to be a Very Serious Episode about the evils of Fascism. In the end though shit like Speer hoodies illustrates those contradictions a bit better.

I even left the team on good terms and got to spend a while in the secret Comvet channel where they get special leaks (I have a few of those saved). I only got banned recently for something I said months ago, I guess it was just part of the purges.

Actually testing the mod was pretty meh. I do think the mod was fun and I was happy to work on it, but I didn't realize how they did some figures dirty until now (namely RFK and Wallace). I'm having trouble with thinking of anything right now but if you ask me specific questions I'll do my best to answer.

Fuck, I'm trying to dig up the 4chan image. Someone claiming to be the father of the lead dev who proved it by posting photos of Anarchomastia when they were younger weighed in. He talked about how he (father) and his wife had come from strict military-dad type homes and tried to be easier on their child. But were still super strict in comparison to the parents of their friends. So they believe their upbringing was the catalyst for their transformation into an anarkiddie. Dad laments this and says he wishes he could have his son back. As for the lead dev Anarchomastia, they supposedly died in CHAZ after raping someone and committing suicide. Oh, another thing. Dad also says that lead dev was obsessed with Paradox games and thought they could apply grand strategy to real life.
