The last time she said anything about diabetes, (not counting chimp outs), she mentioned her doc wanted to run her own blood work to be sure. Since then - essentially crickets & she's prone to going radio silent when she smacks into a health situation she simply can't expect her audience to ignore. & when she has no intention of changing her behavior. It's almost axiomatic with her that when presented with a diagnosis or any medical problem where a change in diet is an 'easy' & sensible approach, she chooses to double down on eating anything contraindicated.
She has no gall blabber, has lost her uterus, has diabetes, fatty liver disease & a history of blood clots in the lung & those typically originate from deep vein thrombosis in one or both legs. Oh yeah, forgot PCOS. The conditions not caused or made worse by morbid obesity ARE made worse by lack of exercise & any form of physical activity short of ripping open food bags & lift food to her maw is anathema to the Countess of Crunch.
Still haven't reached the part of yesterday's live where she speaks of her doctor's suspicion, (diagnosis?), of vasculitis. That should prove interesting as this isn't a condition, no matter what size blood vessels are affected, to piss around with. She's already at very high risk for strokes, heart attacks & complications of diabetes & now, depending what blood vessels are affected, risks tissue death in areas surrounding those vessels as oxygen/carbon dioxide exchange & general 'food'/waste exchange may be severely compromised.
In these parts, a GP doesn't urge a patient to emergency without bloody good reasons. Her GP knows the fastest way to get the blood work, scans & various tests needed to pin down the problem is best done through emerg. And yeah - best time to go is when the doc tells you to. Emergency room waiting areas have bariatric chairs & if she's short of breath - they can easily slap some oxygen on her. If she's got any brain cells left, she's there now; there will be relatively few there with the Superbowl on.
It's interesting, (ironically), that her brain isn't intuiting that she needs to eat differently in light of all these issues. She's not honoring her hunger, she's venerating her cravings. There was a comment that slipped through 1 of her uploads in the past week that made a mistake & called Intuitive Eating "Intrusive Eating".
That sums up her current state succinctly, her eating has taken over every aspect of her life. I wouldn't be surprised if she has bottles of Ranch strategically positioned at her bedside & in her bathrooms; she goes through that crap fast enough to not have to worry about them going bad out of the fridge.
The Grim Reaper has granted her enough rain checks in recent months; I expect she's not far from those no longer being valid. But in a sense, she'll be lucky to 'wake up dead'. A nightmare for her would be to have a bad enough stroke where she literally has to be fed; is fed by staff in a hurry & is stuck having to subsist on bland, cold, congealed long term care home food. Any residuals coming in from YouTube will be swallowed up by care home costs.
