He just flatly complained that he went late and there was 'nothing he could do about it'.
Admittedly, he was stuck in a dungeon. I would have probably seen that through before cutting stream. Not that it has stopped him before, but whatever.
Then he spent 10 minutes in menus, and now we're fast traveling to watch a story cutscene. So he could have left.
He's just blatantly trying to guilt his audience into tipping while he massively stalls on ending the stream.
He was asked why won't he play divinity original sin and went on rant saying people don't like any game he plays and always complain that the stream is boring. Phil they paid you to play you disengenious retard, he complains that no matter what he plays no one is happy ignoring the fact he got paid for it months ago.
His fans should be well aware that they are expected to cover thousands in subs to get the game, and then, if it is a 50 stream playthrough, they need to also pony up $5000 over those streams, or else the game was a failure and it shouldn't have been picked - they're stupid and selfish and don't consider the stream.
I side with Phil on this one. They absolutely deserve this abuse.
EDIT : We just ended at $31. Remember, assuming that Phil was not hiding tips, this means he is completely fucked. At the start of this stream he said the internet bill is coming due, and he needs tips to cover it!
So if there is still internet in 5 days, what exactly happened?
Great question, it certainly wasn't Phil lying and feigning distress or anything. And fuck you for asking.
