Remarkable that Rhys is suiting up to take on his academic peers. *It looks like the goal of the changes is to prevent future novel-legth rebuttal letters that challenge matters of professional judgement. He could request that his number of publications be corrected if there was a legitimate error but not argue that newspaper op-eds count if his department head says that only journal articles and book chapters are acceptable.
