Scuffed translation of chapter 137 is out
Seems Zeke wasn’t being forced by Eren into submission. He just didn’t feel like fighting back. Good to know that his Euthanasia plan went out the window because life filled with racial strife can’t be all bad if you can play catch with someone
I've been telling people this for years: Baseball is the key to world peace.

I mean it still feels fucking retarded because all Armin is spouting is empty platitudes and then Zeke has some sort of magical revelation. But whatever. Nonsensical avengers it is then

Yeah I just actually read the thing and as far as I can tell Armin turns the founding titan's own powers against itself by turning a leaf into a baseball.

It is because Ymir allows it to, because she heard Armin talking about the joyous moments he had in his life as the reason to want to live, which made her remember the only joyous moment of her life.
Freeing the pigs.

This is an example of an ending that ruins earlier parts of the story. Eren, with the Founding Titan, told Ymir that she could end it all forever, end the cycle of hate, if she only chose to do so. He didn't force her, he just gave her the option and said he would support her. And she had another option, to go with Zeke's plan, which could also end it all, in a different way, by doing a partial rumbling and letting the Eldians die off peacefully. She chose to go with Eren. But then Narutarmin holds up a leaf and says "baseball" and now she is suddenly on board with a plan that will result in every Eldian being horrifically murdered, after she already went with a plan that saw almost everyone else being horrifically murdered? Is Ymir just really, really fucking stupid?

She freed the pigs, so Yes.

She is just a little girl that's been in hard labor solitary for over a thousand years. So yes.

>Zeke: Life sucks man and death is inevitable
>Armin: [Uses Philosophy of Pic Related]
>Zeke: I WANT TO LIVE NOW!!!

I think the best part is that my expectations were so low that I'm not even fazed by this chapter.

Oh, it's dumb. It's terrible. The fucking resurrection/reincarnation shit is hilarious and slaps any amount of what little "realism" AoT had right in the face. The sheep titan is ridiculous, and looks incredibly out of place even for this series. The whole mess with Zeke is a disaster.

But you know what? I expected so much worse. So much so that I'm almost pleasantly surprised with how this chapter turned out, and I don't know how to feel about that.
At what volume should I drop? because I'm sure as hell not buying more than 31 volumes.
Last volume I read was 13 when it dealt with Historia's daddy.

Honestly just make up your own mind on what you think of the series, would honestly just recommend watching the anime since it has a better structure than the manga and makes improvements in many places (especially with better art).

So copious amounts of popcorn on the manga and Season one/the comedic AU anime on Tubi? Because that's as far as I'm willing to go.
And despite being shipping trash (I once shipped Mikasa/Eren thanks to Tumblr porn)
And I'm only sticking to memes of Gabi getting beat up.

I really hope he continues that. There hasn't been a new video in like two years but it hasn't been cancelled either.
I think they specifically got told by one of the owners of the series told them they couldn’t do the abridged series, unlike with Toei where they walked a very thin line.

The fight might not be over yet, Mikasa hasn't said "see you around Eren". It's best that she gets the final blow on him but Jean and Armin deserved something before that so I'm fine with this. Overall a boring chapter though. It gets the job done but lazily as possible, I wasn't feeling it. Even during the cavalry arrives moment where Zeke got the other titan shifters free. Having an upbeat positive everybody survives battle at the end of an otherwise dark series thing is fine if you earned it, but you also gotta stick the landing and this was kinda amateur and by the numbers. Even with the wacky worm monster.

Also I guess Ymir isn't just a broken down individual, she genuinely envied royalty. At least until she got sick of it and let herself die.

So, uh, someone on r/titanfolk just posted this, and while it is a meme, it does bring up a really good fucking point, and if it's true, then, well...
