Most of the troon lolcows we see on here seem to come from privileged, upper middle class backgrounds, and are often autistic and involved in programming (badly). Not exclusively, but I really don't think people like Brianna Wu, Contrapoints, or Jim Sterling were getting raped as kids. Everything about them seems like people who have led a sheltered life and don't have anything more to worry about than ranting on Twitter. The TNO troons seem to mostly fall into this category too; PinkPanzer was homeless, but he's not a troon.

I think I generally agree with you, however to be clear, Jim was abused by his step father, something that's even on his wiki page and contrapoints used to brag all the time about how early they had sex for the first time furthermore they also clearly have another undiagnosed mental illness, hence their aversion to psychologists which was my point. Don't know about Wu lore tho.

I think most people's views on Wu is that he was basically an incel until he met Frank, but it's unknown.
