I've just had a quick look at the site, the only threads with any sort of activity are ones about Kiwi Farms, seperate threads whinging about the Mods, about Null, guessing who's going to get baned next.... It's all just a pitiful sobfest.

Well, people are cooped up inside a lot due to the pandemic, so there's that benefit of the doubt. KF Alte Kultur has also been diluted by a lot of new arrivals (such as myself), many of whom don't seem to do their proper time lurking and learning the proper technique of autismbending.

I may have been spoiled in that I religiously read the Mumkey thread before going through my fledgling retardation in the Floyd thread - a great vector to learn not to take either myself or the world so seriously. I would guess that many of the others who fly in never quite pick up on that, and carry a certain seriousness with them elsewhere. I'll stand by that it's harder not to rip your hair out with Lou than with the average cow, even if he's nowhere near the scale of 'horrible' as a zoosadist or something.

The mods can mostly be skirted around as long as you keep the general rule of 'don't make our life harder than it has to be'. They're not omniscient, and you can go your entire time on here without ever even seeing a gnoll post, let alone reading it.

Okay, clearly with the logo art, you made the best of a bad situation. No one can fault you for that.

My big problem with the stickers is actually made clearer here - what looks good and crisp at 800+ pixels wide might still look okay at 69x69, but in 20x20 things like the relatively detailed dislike guns just don't really look like anything. If you end up making more stickers, it'd be worth scaling them down to those sizes to see if they still look good.

As for the 'they'd be reasonable if you didn't perma them!' argument, that's a debate you can hold about a few of these, but the most notable cases there right now (including one of the admins) is "Sent a long haughty list screeching at null about a temp ban he didn't issue" and "got the actual feds involved in the life of what he believes is a paranoid doomer"

Like, both of those clearly fail the 'don't make our life harder' rule, and egregiously so.

I think a lot of them are only angry because they got permabanned for dumb mistakes that they totally wouldn't have repeated if they had just been warned or tempbanned. They don't want Kiwi Farms to be something else, they just want to be able to enjoy the site again without feeling like they'll get banned for trying to have fun on the Internet. They want to be able to participate like normal instead of skulking around on a sock trying to act like someone else so they don't get banned for socking. That's the impression I get from talking to some of them, at least.

Personally I'm not angry and I don't want Kiwi Farms to be anything different. I mean, I want it to be a place where the people I like don't get permabanned for things that don't seem to warrant it, but beyond wanting to talk to those people I have no reason to care about splinter sites. I wouldn't be on Onion Farms if those people were still here. It's your site, do whatever, I'm just saying I think using more tempbans would work wonders.
