Nukes don't result in a game over, the only new feature is that they sap pops.
Also, nukes are only used by AI when 80%+ towards capitulation, and even then, it won't be stupid enough to destroy the planet, but if nukes are used right off the bat, then you start a nuclear war proper.
But it will also depend on government and ruler of the country (yazov will do gamer things) for example

That doesn't make any sense though. If the Cuban missile crisis had gone hot the nukes would have flown instantly. The Soviets wouldn't have had to 80% capitulate the USA for them to be used, that's preposterous. Same for an escalation in Korea or Vietnam. The superpowers wouldn't only launch if their capital was taken, that was part of their opening strategy.

The easy way to do that is to temporarily code the AI so it doesn't declare war on nuclear armed states. Later on there should be an option to allow that but it will always end badly. The 7 days to the river Rhine plan from the 1970s had nuclear weapons used from the outset.

To generalize the aim of this mod; The tone will be switched from inconsistent grim-dark to dark comedy, and gameplay primacy will be most valued.
To summarize the formula for how we do things generally; Fun>Realism, but we place realism where it can be afforded (atlantropa removal for example).

WW3 instantly exploding into thermonuclear warfare definitely fits with a dark comedy theme, though, as well as fitting the cold war setting. Dr Strangelove is a good inspiration.

I could be wrong on the details, but since the main point of damming the Congo was to irrigate the Sahara and the Congo Sea is too far south to do that, it could very well be that they fucked up.

You know what, TNO Redux guys, keep the Congo Sea in, keep it in the same location, and have the in-universe reason be “the guys who made it fucked up and flooded the wrong place”.

I relember once a redditor said that Men is "worse" than Sablin because Men, being a christian priest, is against homosexuality, despite Sablin being against religion, which will affect more people. If that anti-LGBT mod that was on the Steam Worskshop for TNO is anything to go by, they won't handle it well.

Uruguay is probably the most accepting country in the Americas along with Canada. Polling for gay marriage by some accounts is about 75% which is higher than the USA. The problem with TNO is that they'd make some ultra-Catholic backward country like El Salvador accept it instantly.

It's funny cause the justification for their LGBT laws having buffs is they didn't want to piss off troons with a potential negative to decriminalizing homosexuality, etc.

I should also mention that Hall is likely going to be reworked into a wholesome LibSoc route now that Panzer, who at the very least seems to have been universal in his anti-extremism is gone for good and the commies who jerk off to Sablin are in charge. Japan is likely going to end up in a similar route where they either have the evil fascist path or the wholesome democracy path, seeing as this is happening to Italy. Because dah Nazis are bad guys. The entire mod's broken premise is that totalitarian regimes inevitably collapse, despite China being a thing. Even Speers Victory is painted as bad despite ending slavery and potentially creating a proto-EU if he goes along with setting up native led states (Which objectively is the sane decision) under German guidance akin to the Warsaw Pact because it quote, "Legitimizes fascism". I wouldn't be surprised if 70s Independent or even reformist puppet Speer hits a railroaded FU like Bormann gets where magically everything goes to shit.

I think it might be a bad end because most nazi war criminals won't be punished, but considering even in real life most of they didn't got what they deserve, it's still better than the total annihilation that other paths give.

Reformist Speer gets railroaded in success, he's supposed to get overthrown by the gang of four and germany becomes somewhat of a democracy. NatSoc Speer gets railroaded in failure, and fash Speer is the one that legitimize fascism because he's successful (and will stay somewhat successful). This is what the Germany team lead, Moyme, planned. It can and will probably change, but that was the state of the lore before I left.
