Brain sex (or “gender”) is something that needs to die.
Listen, the brain is moulded from birth onwards and continues to be moulded through to the “cognitive cliff“ in old age when our grey cells start disappearing.
So out goes the old ‘biology is destiny’ argument. This argument effectively means that you get the brain you are born with – yes, it gets a bit bigger and better connected but you’ve got your developmental endpoint, determined by a biological blueprint unfolding along the way.
With brain plasticity, the brain is much more a function of experiences. If you learn a skill your brain will change, and it will carry on changing.
Common belief is that women are better at multitasking. Why? Many will simply say “because they’re women”, and leave it at that. No. It’s because women are more often put into more situations where multitasking is efficient than men are. If men were put in similar positions, they will learn how to multitask efficiently just like most women. The neural paths change; they become automatic pathways. The task really does become easier. It’s learned behavior, not biological.
People will say, “I have a son and a daughter, and they are different.’“ but I say, “I have two daughters, and they are very different.“ When you talk about male and female identity, people are very wedded to the idea that men and women are different. People like me are not sex-difference deniers. Of course there are sex differences. Anatomically, men and women are different. The brain is a biological organ. Sex is a biological factor. But it is not the sole factor; it intersects with so many variables.
In short, the “brain differences” many claim we have between the male and female sex through certain feats and interests are learned, not biological. As previously mentioned, a man can learn to multitask as well as most women when put in a position where it is efficient like most women have.
Basically this. AFAIK they also found differences in the brain between heterosexuals and homosexuals. And I'm willing to bet you'd find differences in the brains of fetishsts or the mentally ill, too.
Infact, the brain still grows and changes until 25. Besides, how can a brain even be male or female? What defines it as either? Does a brain have a penis? Because braincells probably do have chromosomes, and those would fit with the rest of the body. How can a brain be a different gender from the person, when it's literally part of it? I mean, if it's a brain in a male body, doesn't it become a male brain by definition? Can you have male or female hands? Female ears? Male mouth?
And even if it were true, why fuck the body up to fit the brain rather than change the brain to fit the body? After all, the brain can change and adapt much easier anyway.
Another question: if this is true, why don't doctors do MRIs to find out if a trans person is really trans? Does the medical industry not agree with this whole "brain sex" thing? What if a doctor does an MRI on a trans person and their brain is male? Does that mean they just aren't trans? Even if they claim to be?
Also, but this is specific to Vintologis "logic". If estrogen feminizes the brain (since HRT feminizes the brain further) wouldn't that just mean they all have male brains? Because virtually none of them have inborn hormonal issues, we can assume they have normal levels of male hormones.
So yeah, trans ideology is filled with holes and inconsistincies. Either you get those questions answered half-half while trying to not actually tackle the question, or they just say "do your own research" or you just get banned from whatever hugbox you posted in.
Or my favourite one, they don't answer any question they just go "science agrees with us, we're women, deal with it"
